Highlights : Maasa refuses to share her secret
Shyam wants to pray for the family
Suguna comes face-to-face with her past
Scene continues from Maasa yelling at all family members to mind their own business and not ask her where she was. She is not a kid and can go and come as she pleases. She goes to her room. Basanth comes there and presses her to tell him where she had been. Maasa ignores him and goes on about her work. Basanth asks her if she had gone to Nagore. Maasa glares at him and says nothing. Basanth pleads with her to share her secret. He can clearly see that she is very upset and bothered. He just wants to help in sharing her burden.
Basanth again asks Maasa about her whereabouts. He tells her that he knows she got something from Nagore the previous night. Basanth tells Maasa that he is very worried about her behavior. Maasa lovingly tells Basanth that she knows Basanth loves her a lot. She is very fond of her children too. But this is something she cannot talk to her children about. Basanth again forces her, but Maasa stands her ground and requests him not to ask her again. Basanth leaves sadly. DOwn in the hall, Sumitra tells Gehna that Basanth was probably unsuccessful in getting any info out of Maasa.
Shyam approaches Sumitra and tells her that he wants to pray for the family's well-being. He says that he wants to go to Vrajeshwar next day and pray at the temple. Sumitra agrees. Suguna offers to go with Shyam. Basanth offers to take them since he had some work in a nearby village. The next morning, Basanth drops the two at the temple and leaves saying he will be back in time to pick them up after their pooja.
Just as Suguna starts to climb the temple steps, Shyam stops her and offers his hand. Suguna smilingly takes it and climbs up. In Anandi's house, Khajan gets ready to meet someone to buy land. Bhago worries abt their fate. Khajan tells her to trust him. Anandi says she will help around the land too.
In the temple, Shyam and Suguna complete all the pooja work. Suguna prays for Maasa to cool down and bring back Anandi. Shyam wishes for the well-being of his family. As they go down, Suguna stops upon seeing Pratap's mother approach.
Precap : Suguna tells Pratap's mother that even though Pratap is no more, she is like Suguna's mother. Pratap's mother tells her she has no relation with Suguna. She insults Suguna and calls her abshagun. Shyam defends Suguna and is beaten up by some men. Suguna faints and falls down the steps. Shyam too is beaten up and he falls down the steps behind Suguna....
