What no way !! 😆 What will kids understand about politics . Even at 16 and 17 they are reading up ....forming opinions and are too easily biased by what mom and dad and teacher thinks.

18 remains a good age as always !!

no they shouldn't. they don't know whats right and wrong, somebody may just tell them what to do so that means 1 person is voting more than 1 time which is unfair. children don't know any better so its better to wait until they're older

I tottaly agree. Considering this age doesn't have the right to vote, nothing is improving for us. Yeah.. some of the canidates sure 'promise' for improvements for us, but it never happens!!.. and why?.. becuz we cant vote so they give nothing to our needs.

I agree that children are too young to vote, because they are too young to understand some of the more serious aspects of politics.
but a while ago we had watched a documentary type movie in school and it was just outlining that kids don't go into too much detail and this actually is a good thing. It was actually based on if kids were to decide major decisions that effect our world it would be more peaceful, because kids don't judge each other as much. I don't really remember a lot about the movie but they had a lot of good points, and they made me think.

but yes I still think that you are still strongly influenced as a kid, by what people around you think. 18 is an appropriate age for voting.
