Hunar Hali, who was last seen in the role of Sohni in Grihasthi, is expecting a lot from her new show 12/24 Karol Bagh, which starts on August 31, replacing Ghar Ki Laxmi Betiyann
The actress is on homeground as she was born in Delhi, but says the character Mili is completely unlike her. "We did a workshop before the show, which helped a lot; we not only worked on our characters but also got to know each other. So now when we are actually shooting for the show, I don't feel like I am acting," she says. "However, playing Mili is not easy, she is a strong-willed woman, who is ready to do anything for her family. She is career oriented too and is almost like the son of the family." Hunar, on the other hand, is quite emotional in real life. "I break down easily if someone says something to me. I am very obedient; if someone asks me to do something, I immediately agree to it. I cannot answer back easily. I am the complete opposite of Mili."
The actress has had some other troubles during the shoot. "I do not know how to ride a Scooty, and there are many scenes with me riding one. I've tried to learn but I'm not very steady, whenever I ride it I ask everyone to get out of my way or get life insurance. I usually end up falling or banging into someone. I once fell down with my on-screen sister Simi; both of us cried and apologised to each other," she says. Hunar also accidentally hit one of her co-actors while shooting a scene in which she had to slap someone; so now her colleagues are all wary of her.
12/24 Karol Baug is the story of a family of three sisters and a brother, who all have different problems. The son is not ready to help in his father's business, one daughter is not able to find a suitable boy to marry, the second daughter keeps daydreaming and the third is very ambitious.
