18 Nov 2005 Episode

Abhirami's house - Ramya is lying on the bed. Abhirami comes with a glass of juice. She hands over the juice and is talking to Ramya about how she is feeling etc.

Downstairs, a car arrives. Srinivasan gets out. Asks the maid whether Abhirami is in. Maid says yes, they are upstairs. Srinivasan climbs up the stairs and enters their room.

Ramya turns her face away from him.

Srinivasan: Ramya, what happened the other day was an accident. I can understand the anguish you feel for your lost child. YOu must understand that I feel the same anguish, cos i too have lost my grandchild.

Ramya continues to stare at the other side of her room - doesn't even glance at him.

Abhirami says: Srinivasan sir, she is a young girl, she has gone through a lot. She will be in a mood to speak when time has healed the pain.

Srinivasan says : I can understand that. Ramaya, you take your time, relax in your akka's house. Your mamiyar says that you and Gautam will go to thani kudthanam, I am begging with you to reconsider that decision. I want my son to continue to live in our house. Please talk to him and convince him.

Ramya is furious by now. she gets up from bed and talks very curtly.

Ramya says: the decision to leave the house and go for thani kudhthanam was taken by my husband. I didn't ask for it. But I can imagine the vedanai he must have gone through to make such a decision. I will not speak with him regarding this.

Srinivasan storms out of the room and goes down the stairs.

Abhirami rushes after him. (we wonder why she is supporting Srinivasan, rather than consoling Ramya). She stops him and says that she will speak with Ramya and see what can be done. Srinivasan is furious. He says nothing doing. You ahve to assure me that they will not go for thani kudhanam.

abhirami looks tense. She returns to the bedroom and says 'Ramya' very angrily. Ramya is surprised. Abhirami tells her that she must reconsider her opinion. She must return to Srinivasan's house with her husband.

Ramya is totally confused. She says 'but akka, you only told me to seperate srinivasan and gautam and move to another house. And now when things are going that way by chance, you are asking me to change things"

Abhirami "then it was different, now things are different. Now you MUST go back to your house. I have dealings with srinivasan for business and it would hurt my business tremondously if srinivasan is upset with me. You must go back."

Ramya: "akka, i can't believe what i am hearing. You are asking me to change our plans just to suit your business plans. My marriage with Gautam itself was a business proposition for you, you didnt' consider my feelings then, you are not considering my feelings now'

Abhirami: "ramya you are not understanding me. This is a matter of life and death to me"

Ramya: "life and death? HOw can my moving into that house be a matter of life and death. Explaing to me"

Abhirami: "you wont understand"

Ramya: "how can i understand if you dont' explain. But whatever it is, i am not going back to that house. If you want me out of here, i will leave instantly, but i will not go to srinivasan's house. thats final."

Abhirami storms out of the room and goes and sits on the rocking chair looking very tense.

Lakshman's house: He tells his daughter, Uma that he is very happy that she was back and that now she can take over the businesses worth crores. She says no, she is not ready for that. Uma says that she has a proposal that she wants him to take a look at. that she prepared that proposal with lots of dreams and she wants to pursue that.

Laks says that she shoudl settle down, get married and take over reins from him. She insists to give her time and that she was not at all interested inmarriage right now. He says okay, lets talka bout it later, go and rest.

Srinivasan's bedrooms: His wife comes with the usual glass of milk in her hand. She gives the milk to him and starts to leave. But she says, that he has killed their grandson and she was afraid that they might not have any more as in their family they usually had only one child. She tells him all this must be due to the pavam they have earned due to mistreating RK. She says that he is associating himself with people like Abhirami and it will only lead them to more sorrow. He gets very angry and again starts to strangle her. Then pushes her and she falls on a chair.

Laks House - Shanti comes to Laks house. He welcomes her. He calls Uma down. Uma arrives wearing a nice saree, looking very glamorous. Now there is a discussion between the three that made me nauseous.. each one praising the other. Uma saying words to effect that Shanti is a role model for all women and she admires her a lot. Shanti saying Uma is very pretty and intelligent and so on.

Shanti then says to Laks that he MUST help RK from this situation with the bank he has. Laks says no issues at all, he will definitely help.

Camera freezes on Laks thoughtful face.

Sorry folks.. I just realised that today's post didn't get posted (my fault, I am sure, my trigger happy finger must have clicked something)

anyway - in short

Lks place : Shanti tells laks to help with getting abhirami under control. She suggests that he cultivate a friendship with abhirami and slowly convince her that her dad was the one at fault and RK was the good guy. SHe says that even if abhirami doesn' tget convinced, they should try to convince and convert Shyam as without him, Abhirami woudl be a spent force.

Abhirami's place - Laks comes with Uma to Abhirami's place and introduces himself. He talks a lot about the old frienshipt with Jambo and Ahbirami is visibly pleased.
Shyam falls for Uma like a ton of bricks. Uma does seem to be leading him along - but we are not sure at this stage whether she really likes him or it is part of the plan to get at Abhirami.

At KV karna's house Ramakrishna is able to get access to all sort of documents and firmly implants himself as a trustworthy loyal follower of KV karan.

At Laks house, Shyam comes at Laks invitaion. A bit of flirting between Shyam and Uma as they wait for Laks to come. Laks tells Shyam about the Proposal Uma has for the IT business. He says he would liek SHyam to be a partner with Uma in this business

Shyam seems veyr pleased, but tells Laks that he has to ask akka's permission as akka has been both father and mother to him and ramya and that he is her only support in business as well as in personal life.

Laks looks thoughtful.

Sorry for the delayed update - it is almost 24 hours from the episode and I can't remember everything

Abhirami's house - Gautam arrives, Ramya is pleased to see him.
Abhirami tells Gautam that she wonders if this 'thani kuduthanam' was a hasty decision. Gautam is very firm, he says not hasty, but he would think it was a very delayed reaction. He says, he should have moved into thani kuduthanam ages ago. Abhirami gives him a very sad smile.

Gautam tells Ramya that he has found a house and to pack her things, that he will come to pick her up soon and leaves.

Abhirami immediately turns to Ramya to try to convince her that she should return to Srinivasan's house. Ramya refuses. Abhirami insists that she should do so for akka's sake. Ramya says, my mind is made up. I will not speak to Gautam about this. Abhirami looks upset, but is quiet.

Srinivasan's house - he picks up the paper and yells, 'will i get coffee today'. His wife appears with teh coffee. She is dressed nicely. She then goes inside and brings a newspaper wrapped photo. Srinivasan asks her why she is dressed well adn what she was carrying. She ignores him and calls 'driver'.

The driver comes in. She says to the driver 'do you know the address of my son's new house'. He says he does. She says 'ok, keep this package in the car and wait for me, i will come'

Srinivasan is furious. He rushes to his wife, as if he was going to beat her again. HE says to her that she should not go as Gautam had not invited him. He says she as a wife , should not go to aplace where her husband was not respected.

she says she would go whether he permitted or not. She says that he was not lucky to be invited that was his fault.

He says if you go now, you cannot come back.

She says okay, i will not come back, i will happily stay with my son.

He looks very shocked and taken aback.

She reassures him that she would return back adn stay with him as she was afraid that he would ruin himself if she were not there to check him.

She leaves.

He sits on the sofa and feels sad for himself that Gautam didnt' invite him. Then he gets angry and throws the newspaper on the floor.

Ramya's new house - Ramya, Gautam, Abhrami and SHyam are waiting impatiently for Gautam's mom to come. Finally she appears. Gautam goes to her with great love tells her that he was very pleased that she came.

Gautam's mom gives Ramya the god's picture and asks her to keep it in the pooja place. Rmaya does so. Ramya, Gautam and motherin law seem to have a great chemistry - they get along great and respect eachother.

She says it is time to do the paal kaching. Rmaya says that she must do it. Gautam also insists. They then go to the kitchn and do the paal kaching ceremony. Smiles all around, excpet abhirami' splace.

Gautam's mom then asks Abhirami to break a coconut and start the pooja. She hesitates, but Ramya and Gautam insist. She breaks the coconut but it turns out to be a rotten one. She is devastated. Ramya and Gautam console her saying it was just a coconut.

Gatam's mother breaks another coconut and it has the round thing inside (supposed to be very lucky, I guess). They are all very pleased (except Abhirami, who still looks very shocked). Gautam's mother thinks to herself 'she has such a rotten mind, thats why the coconut was rotten too'

Abhirami then says she wants to leave and takes shyam and goes off.

Arjun's shop - Shanti arrives and asks where Karthik was. Arjun says he had gone off on some meeting. She asks how he is working. Balaji overhears and says that he is a great worker. Doing a great job.

Shanti says, yes,he is very good in whatever he does. She says that for his talent he should not be going afte rsmall businesses but should be looking for corporate orders. She says she will speak with Rohini for bank support and talk to others too. Arjun and Balaji are very pleased with the idea.

Arjun asks if Laks had made any progres swith Shaym adn she says no, it was not an easy task and it would take some time.

She then says that she had decided to speak with Ramya. Arjun and Balaji look stunned. But she smiles and walks off.

Ramya's new house - Ramya is looking veyr pretty and happy. She tells Gautam that he had to learn to buy groceries etc. They both look very much in love and veryhappy. Good for them!!

The bell rings and Ramya opens the door.

She is stunned to see Shanti smiling holding a present.

She keeps staring at Shanti. Shanti's smile falters, but then brightens again.

Ramya continues to stare. Camera freeze. End of episode.

24 Nov 2005 Episode

Ramya's house - Shanti is standing at the door. Ramya is too shocked and just avert her eyes and stands by the door. Raj Gautam comes in. He sees Shanti and looks very shocked too. Then he smiles at her and asks her to come in. Shanti comes in and says that she heard that Ramya moved to a new house and so she came to give her best wishes and passes the present. Ramya ignores her and continues to look angry. Gautam accepts the present.

Shanti says "i heard about the circumstances that caused to you take a decision to move to a new house and so I thought I would come to convey my condolences about the baby and give you some words of 'ardal' (comfort). I know that Ramya won't speak with me, but I thought i must come, as I always treated Ramya and Shyam as my siblings. I know a temple near Kumbakonam, where couples who had miscarriage pray and the prasadam of ghee is eaten by the couple with their food to gain blessings of the goddess who will grant the couple another child. I urge you to go to the temple'

Ramya continues to stare while Raj Gautam tries his best to be hospitable without offending Ramya. Shanti says she was leaving and would come again and gets another stare from Ramya. Gautam asks Shanti to stay for coffee and sweets. Shanti says she would have that another time.

The minute Shanti steps out, Ramya turns to Gautam and yells at him for entertaining Shanti, their arch enemy. Gautam says that our tamil panpadu says that when an enemy comes to their door, the enemy must be treated as a guest, with a lot of respect. Gautam says that being kind and respectful is a dignified response. Ramya begs to disagree and stomps out of the house. Gautam follows slowly.

Shanti's car - Shanti has a playful smile on her face and calls Abhirami's office. Abhirami is not happy to hear Shanti's voice. Shanti informs Abhirami that she went to Ramya's place and Raj Gautam was very kind to her. She says that Abhirami should accompnay them to kovil kolam so that she can gain a little punyam. Shanti says that she doesn't have any mor time and hangs up the phone. Abhrami is furious.

RK's house - Shanti comes in and find RK, Kartik, Raji sitting in the living room. She informs them about her visit to Ramya's place. Karthik is furious and yells saying there was no reason to go there as Ramya was a kutti pisasu. Shanti justifies her visit by saying that she went there to start a cold war between the sisters. She says that she felt it would be easy to get Raj Gautam to their side and Ramya would follow suit. She felt that abhirami alone without the support of her sister and brother would be easier to handle.

RK applauds her move and Karthik feels relieved too. Raji is very happy and holds Shanti's hand with joy.

Rohini's house - Rohini and Madan are sitting. Shanti arrives and asks Rohini for help with the bank loans for Karthik to advance in his business. Rohini and Madan assure her of their full support. Shanti asks them to keep her 'meddling' with Karthick's affair a secret. They agree.

Ramya's house - Abhirami arrives looking furious. She yells for Ramya and starts verbally assaulting her saying that she shouldn't have let Shanti in. Ramya is taken aback, she says, that she didn't speak or invite Shanti, but Raj Gautam spoke with her. Abhirami says whatever the matter, Ramay should have called her and informed her. Ramya says that she knew that Abhirami would get tense and yell, so she didn't call.

Abhirami says 'you have gone for thani kuduthanam, but you haven't left me yet'. She threatens Ramya that Shanti should not come to Ramay's house again, or else... jakardhai and leaves.

Ramya looks very upset. Camera freezes on her sitting with her head in her hands.

(wasted episode nothing happened)

Club - Continuing from Friday's episode, we hear again Arjun warning Abhirami to take care of her dealings with KV. Abhirami looks shocked. Arjun takes advantage of the shock and walks off with the last word. Abhirami looks thoughtful then starts off the car and drives away.

Restaurant - Shanti and Deepa are having coffee. (downright silly, i thought, mustn't they be careful of being seen together in public?? Can't they meet in each other's house or talk on the phone instead??). Shanti tells Deepa that the lawyer Prakash had asked for many details regarding the company to prevent any misuse of RK's power of attorney. She asks for details such as
- loan history
- history of purchase and sale of sick units
- investments
- the power of attorney document itself

Deepa nods her head and says that she will get everything easily, except for the power of attorney document which might take some time.

Laks House - Laks and Uma are sitting in a idyllic location in their garden having tea and reading newspaper. Nice scene. A car arrives and Shyam alights. Laks and Uma welcome him. Shyam says he came to apologise for his sisters words. Laks says that he never took it to heart. Uma says that she as a girl can understand why Abhirami spoke like htat. Uma says Abhrmai must have been scared of Shyam leaving her side. Laks says that Abhirami's words only meant her love and passion for SHyam were very strong and that she was very possesive about Shyam. Laks says that if Jambo were alive he would be proud of Ahbirami and Shyam. Just that Jambo drank himself to premature death.

Shyam looks shocked. Uma interrupts asking her father not to upset Shyam.

Uma says at the end that she thinks Shyam is veyr good and that he must shine on his own right, as MD of a big company as he had the talent and skills.

Shyam is flabbergasted and says that they are very kind and generous to forgive him and his sister. He looks thoughtful as he takes his leave.

Abhirami's office - Abhirami is workign on some document and calls Deepa in. She tells Deepa to complete some project asap and give it to her by evening. Deepa says her computer is not working and that some engineers were working on it and Abhirami gives up her seat and computer to Deepa saying she was going out anyway. Deepa looks pleased and she starts to look thru Abhirami's computer and saves some documents onto a floppy.

Shyam comes to the office and is shocked to see Deepa in Abhirmai' seat. She is in the midst of putting something into an envelope. He asks her what she was doing there. Deepa says Abhirmai asked her to complete project. He asks her what was in the envelope. She passes it to him saying these are ht eproject details, and asks him to pass to Abhirami. She sits at the seat after Shyam left feelign relieved.

Two guys enter Abhirami' s room and tell Deepa that the cmoptuer is repaired now. Deepa passes the floppy to them saying please pass the floppy to Lawyer Prakash. They nod and leave. She looks immensely pleased with herself.

Srinivasan's house - He is firing the AC for not finding Govindan. He tells AC that he was afraid that Govindan was in Abhirami's clutches and that Abhirami would not hesitate to use Govinan to destroy Srinivasan. He also hints that he doesnt' trust the AC and that the AC also could be in Abhirami's clutches.

Road side tea kadai - Govindan is happily drinking tea and reading newspaper. A chappie sitting nearby notices him and quickly calls someone.

A police jeep comes from nowhere and four constables jump out and give chase to Govindan.

The chase takes us thru a maze of houses and corridors.

Govindan jumps over a wall - end of episode.

30 Nov 2005 Episode

Abhirami's house terrace - Shyam is worried. He keeps thinking of what Laks friend said during the mornign walk.

Abhirami's front room - Shyam is sitting on the sofa with his head in his hands. Abhirami comes and asks what the matter was. He ignores her.

Abhirami "do you know what day it is?"

SHyam "i don't care"

Abhirami "well, today is friday and you are supposed to put new mala for appa's photo"

Shyam "i don't want to"

Abhirami "why?"

SHyam "i just don't want to, leave me alone"

ANd shyam stomps out of the house. Abhirami looks very worried and thoughtful.

Laks House - Shyam arrives in his red car. Uma is sitting in the living room. Shyam asks her where her dad was. Laks comes down. Shyam insists that Laks tell him about Jambo. Laks tries to avoid, but Uma says that Shyam is really insistant, you have to tell him.

Monument - Laks takes Shyam for a drive and they come to a monument with pictures of chidren.

Shyam looks scared that his father is somehow related to this monumen.

Laks tells him that Jambo, RK and himself were partners. They received a contract to build a school, but RK and Laks refused sayigj the money would not be enuf to build a good quality building. Jambo accepted teh contract and built the school using very low quality materials. He used up majority of the money in drinking binges, as a result the school collapsed one day and many children died. He said that this monument was built in in memory the school children

Even after this incident, Jambo didnt change, and continued with his drinking habit, not giving money to the family for even food. RK bailed out Jambo several times but Jambo tells his wife that his plight without job and money is due to RK.

Laks tells Shyam that his wife and Abhirami believed what Jambo said, but it was up to Shyam to believe or not believe that RK was actually a saviour to his family as he was the one who helped Jambo now and again, and raised him and his sisters. Shyam looks mortified.

SHanti's office - Arjun comes to tell her that he has spoken to Karthik and asks if Rohini had said anything. Shanti informs him about Deepa getting all the inside info from Abhirami's office. Arjun tells Shanti to ask Deepa to be very careful.

Abhirami's office - Her lawyer arrives, Deepa checks with Abhirami if she is free to see him and sends Lawyer to her room. Abhirami asks him about the bank case. She says sarcastically that Lawyer Prakash seemed to be doing a better job then him. Deepa comes over to the room door an overhears lawyer tellign Abirami to keep the Power of Attorney documents safe. Lawyer leaves, Deepa watches Abhirami keep the document in a cupboard.

End of episode.

2 Nov 2005 Episode

Shanti and Abhirami exchange words. But this time, Shanti has an edge. She says to Abhirami that she thinks Abhirami is suffering and is all alone. This hits Abhirami and she gets more and more tense till the point that she loses control. Shanti appears concerned, but soon Abhirami faints. Shanti quickly holds her.

Next scene, Abhirami is in the hosptial and Shanti is talking to the doctor. Doctor says Abhirami has hypertension and should relax and not get tense. Shanti calls shyam and tells him that though he doesn't respect her, she has always thought of him as her tambi. He says, okay talk. Shanti tells him about Abhiarmi and gives hospital address. She settles the bill and leaves. Abhirami wakes up just as she is leaving and sees Shanti's face looking concerned with a kind smile.

At Raji house, Karthik is yelling at Shanti (in third person) saying why she shoudl go and help such a creep like Abhirami. Shanti replies to everything he says, but addresses Raji. It was a very cute scene.

But Raji says what shanti did was good and shows that shanti is caring. Shanti says she only did what she would do to any human being in that situation and didn't think it was Abhirami who needed her help.RK also praises Shanti's action.

At Abhirami's place, she is furious. She is very upset and when Shyam gives her medicine she is so angry that she throws all the medicine and water jug and everything on the bedside table and yells that she prefers to ahve died that to be saved by Shanti. She loses her mind and curls up hugging her knees.
Shyam screams at her for acting like this and and tells that he is the only one left and if she continues in this way, he will leave her alone and go too.

That sets her thinking. She thinks that Ramya has left me and now Shyam too. Then I will be all alone? She looks very sad.

At the temple, Raji runs into Srinivasan's wife. She tries to avoid her but Srinivasan's wife accosts her and requests her to listen. She tells Raji that Srinivasan and Abhirami are plotting to destroy RK and family and warns her to be careful. Raji says to her, why don't you control your husband. Srinivasna's wife looks very sad and says that he doesn't listen to her anymore.

Raji returns home looking very sad. She is waiting by the stove boiling milk and thinking of what raji's home, while warming milk she keeps thinking of what
Cheenu's wife's said and faints. Lukily Karthik sees her and holds on to her.

Abhirmi is in bed seems much better. Ramya & husband Raj are visiting. Ramya's husband asks her why she is so tense. We see the old Abhirami now. She behaves just like she used to talk to Karthik in the good old days. Sly, cruel, but sugar coated poison. She tells him that she doesn't want to tell him and spoil his relation with his dad as his dad is the one who brought her to this situation, not Shanti. She says that srinivasan is the one who solved the hotel crisis, but when she learnt that he is the one who created the crisis in the first place she was heart broken and very sad.

Raj says to her not to worry and that he will handle everything.

Abhirami has the usual creul, crooked smile on her face!
