Anandam Updates November 2005

Ramya's place - Srinivasan's son is musing about what Abhirami told him about his dad. Ramya sees him thinking and thinks to herself gleefully 'he must be thinking about what akka told him, i must let him think undisturbed" and walks away.

Srinivasan's son Raj, thhen goes to the hotel and cons the union leader by asking him leading questions and reinforcing how strong his bonding with his dad is and extracts information on how Srinivasan was involved in instigating the hotel problems and taking over management.


At Raji's place, she is lying down in bed and the doctor tells RK and Karthik that she is fine but she must rest completely for a few days - shoudl not even enter the kitchen and must eat regularly and have her diabetes medicines regularly.

ONe by one, the family comes all offering their support for Raji. Madan and Rohini, enter, then Anita and Swati come. They all offer to stay, but Raji says, Rohini you have to go to the bank to work, Swati you have a baby at home. And at that point, Shanti enters, saying "i will take care, i have come'.

Everyone looks pleased, maninly because they think that if Shanti lives in the house, she will get back with Karthik and their family will be complete once more. Raji is thrilled. She says to the rest, all of you can go to your work, Shanti will take care of me. Shanti says that Indu will come home after school and Karthik looks very pleased. but When Shanti's and Karthik's eyes meet, Shanti looks down quickly, and Karthik's face falls.


Abhirami's bedroom - Another bed scene, this time with Abhirami. A cook is making juice in a mixer in the kitchen. The sound of hte mixer tells us the emotional state of Abhirami's mind and heart. She is thinking about how the RK family looked so happy in the temple and how they had looked at her with pity. She is seething with anger and the perceived injustice of the entire situation.

Shyam brings the orange juice. Looks delicious - the juice, not Shyam, obviously!

Shyam watches Abhirami gulp down the juice in one long sip. She tells him that she is feeling better and would be happier at work than at home.

She tells Shyam that she felt very alone and lonely at home, she felt as if everyone was leaving her and going. She said Ramya now belonged with her husband and when Shyam gets married he too wil....

Shyam stops her and assures her that he woudl stay with her for ever. He says he hasn't even thought about marriage. Abhirami looks very relieved and holds his
hands and kisses his hand.

Shyam has tears in his eyes and tells her that he heard that Raji was sick and the entire family - two daughters, two sons and two daughter in laws and one husband rallied around and were supporting her. He says, he thouht that money was important, but he now thinks otherwise as he sees Abhirami with all the money but with no one for support.

Abhirami asks did shanti also come, Shyam says , yes Shanti also came. She feels terrible and asks him to leave. Shyam leaves the room

<My Comments - I think perhaps the director is trying to tell us that Shyam is actually a good guy. He might end up marrying Deepa towards the end of this episode, and he might be the one to guide Abhiarmi back to the land of good >

Srinivasan's place - Raj (Srinivasan's son) goes to his mom and tells her the whole story about how Srinivasan was conning Abhirami. He paints a picture that Abhiarami is an angel who is concnered about Ramya's life and as if his dad is a the villian of the piece. Camera focuses on his mothers face looking very stressed.

4 Nov 2005 Update

Srinivasan's place - Srinivasan's wife and son Gautam / Raj are discussing Srinivasan's greedy mentality. They both agree that they have enough money and that Srinivasan should give up this craze for money. Gautam / Raj says that Abhirami was right about Srinivasan, but Srinivasan's wife warns him saying Abhirami was a dangerous woman too. Srinivasan sees them talking and comes in and says were yout aking about me? His son walks off without talking to him. Srinivasan asks wife to serve food, she says she wants to talk to him and tells him that she knows about how he instigated fights int he hotel to take control. Srinivasan assumes that Abhirami must have told them and asks his wief to get lost and not advise him. He thinks to himself "abhirami, you are messing with my family and causing them to go against me. If you are kooni, I am sakuni, just watch how i destroy you. "

Raji's Place - Shanti comes into Raji's bedroom and gives her coffee, medicines and breakfast. She tucks her in to sleep again and goes down cheerfully to make idlis and sambar for RK and Karthik. She serves them coffee and breakfast. RK thinks of the time he knocked off the flower basket offered by Shanti when he was doign poojai and Karthik thinks of the time when he told Shanti that since she hid Madan's affair from him, they dont' have any relationship anymore - nee yaro naan yaro.. Oblivious of all this mental turmoil Shanti serves them. She doesn't put chutney for Karthik and RK says - you forgot to give chutney to karthik and she says 'avuruku chutney pidikadhu. he prefers to eat idli with sambar'. Both RK and Karthik are moved. Narayana comes to pick up Indu to school. Peace reigns at Rajis place.

Abhirami's bedroom - Ramya has come to see Abhirami. She tells Abhirami again that Abhirami shoudl forget all the RK revenge thing and Srinivasan' revenge thing and enjoy life. Abhirami says to Ramya, so now you are on Srinivasan's side. Shyam gets furious and yells at Abhirami that she is being stubborn and not understanding what is good for her. Abhirami yells back and Shyam storms out of the room. Abhirami gets broken hearted and says 'shyam has left me' again and again. Ramya tries to console her but she is inconsolable.

Lawyer Prakash's office - RK is talking to lawyer. he asks him to officially revoke the Power of Attorney Document that he gave abhirami to avoid any future transactions. The lawyer agrees that it is an important thing to do.

Abhirami's office - She is reading the notice sent by RK revoking Power of Attorney. Shyam is concerned about the implications of the document. However, their lawyer says it is a good thing to sign and Abhirami signs the pages immediately and flings the pen.

Abhirami's bedroom - She keeps thinkign about the lawyer notice and how she signed it and remembers the temple scene where all the RK family people were laughing. Then she mentally resolves that she will make all of them cry.

Abirami's bedroom - Abhirami is in deep thought, thinking about the lawyer notice, and Shyam enters. He looks disturbed. He says he is worried that there is a spy in their midst as conversations in the office is reaching RK camp. His logic is how else would Shanti know where RK was. Abhirami sees his point adn asks him who he thinks is the spy. Shyam says he is very suspicious of Deepa. Abhirami is annoyed with this. She says she trusts Deepa instinctively as she shares the same bond of revenge against RK family with her. Shyam says to her that she can continue to trust Deepa but he will keep a hawk eye on her.

Breakfast at Raji's house - Raji, RK , Karthik and indu are ready for breakfast. Shanti serves pongal, chutney and sambar. RK informs Shanti that he is workign with Lawyer prakash and has sent notice to Abhirami anulling the power of attorney. Shanti says that it is very good news.

Indu says pongal is too hot amma, can you cool it for me. Shanti is busy serving and says that she is busy. RK helps indu and feeds her. Shanti is thrilled to see this. Raji also has tears in her eyes. Shanti is so happy that she is smiling broadly and smiles at Karthik who is also very happy. Then she realises that she smiled at Karthik and quickly averts her eyes.

She then tells the family that since Raji was better, she will move back to her house. Raji opposes this, but Shanti is firm. karthik is upset and walks off fromt eh table without a word. RK says to Shanti to do as she pleases. Shanti also leaves. Raji asks RK 'yennanga?'. RK says that after allt hat the RK family had done to shanti, they owe it to her to give her time and space to decide what she wants for herself and Indu. RK says that he has faith that all will be well.

Restaurant - Abhirami with orange juice waiting for someone. An Omni arrives and Srinivasan alights. He walks in and looks impatient. He asks Abhirami why she called him. Abhirami tells him that she is upset about the lawyers notice. Srinivasan tells her that RK must have done it for his protection. He says that it doesn't mean it is bad for Abhirami, instead, it gives more freedom to her.

He starts to leave, and Abhirami stops him and says one more thing. He is clearly impatient now but sits down again. She tells him that Shyam is suspecting that there is a spy in the office and it is possibly deepa. Srinivasan asks, why? Abhirami says that RK's secret hideout was known only to Srinivasan and herself, how did Shanti come to know of it. Srinivasan says, that since some strage guy told Abhirami about RK's secret hideout, it could be possible that the same strange guy told Shanti of this too.

Abhirami accepts this but is uneasy. Srinivasan then says that if she suspsects Deepa she should try to test and find otu if she is loyal or a spy. Srinivasan says that harbouring a suspicion is very unhealthy for the business and peace of mind. Abhirami likes this idea.

Abhirami's office - Abhirami summons Deepa to her room by phone. Deepa arrives and stands. Abhirami is lost in her file. Deepa says "excuse me" and Abhirami looks up confused. Deepa says "you called me Ma'am." Abhirami says, "oh yeah" and gives her a file asking her to look thru it.

Shaym ushers in a couple of guys saying they are from some company and want to outsource some project to Abhirami's company. Shyam starts to leave, but Abhirami says that he shoudl stay. Now Deepa says excuse em madam and starts to leave, Abhirami says "no Deepa, you must stay too."

Deepa is looking at the men thru the corner of her eyes. Abhirami sees Deepa looking. Shyam looks at Deepa. Deepa looks at Shyam and quickly look sback at her files in the hand. All this looking makes us think that something is going on.

Abhirami then talks to the two men who tell her that her company is so good, always puntual, good quality work blah blah, so they would like to give her the job. They hand over a couple of files to her.

Abhirami thanks them and they leave. Abhirmai hands over the files to Deepa and asks her to prepare a tender such that they get the job and a good profit.

Deepa leaves.

Shyam is very very annoyed. He yells at Abhirmi saying that inspite of the fact that he is suspicious of Deepa she was handing over company secrets to her.

Abhirami smiles and says just watch what i do. Shyam leaves angrily and she puts her fingers together and smiles. She then stops smiling and looks very thoughtful. Camera freezes on her face.

KV Karan's office – KVT screams at his men saying they all were efficient only while getting diwali bonus and eating good food but were not doing their work. He tells his man to find Govindan. Great dialogues here.. full of humour.

Lawyer Prakash living room – Prakash watches news that govindan has escaped and summons Insp Gani. We learn from Insp Gani that Govindan didn't come towards his men but escaped. Lawyer is angry and gives him lfet and right saying now their entire case was on shaky ground. He asks Gani to go find him.

Abhirami's office – The IP tech company comes and tells Abhi that they will award the job to her. She asks them about the other tenders, and the chappies tell her that they spoke with 4 companies including Rajeshwari INfotech, but their quote was 2% higher than Abhirami Industries. Abhi is thrilled that she gets the contract. She makes fun of Shyam and asks him to go do his work.

Empty Meeting Room in Abhirami Industries Office - Deepa is very upset. She looks around surreptiously and calls Shanti. Shanti is at her office. Deepa asks her why her company didn't' quote lower. Shanti says that there were two reasons
Reason 1 – IP infotech was a lousy company and have not paid many of their vendors
Reason 2 – It could be possible that Abhirami gave her the job to prepare quote just to test if Deepa was loyal to Abhirami

Deepa is very impressed. She says to Shanti that she can never be as bright as Shanti. Mutual praising session goes on for a minute or so. I thought it was ridiculous how Deepa calls shanti from the office.. moreover she goes 'shanti this' 'shanti that' on the phone. Any sensible person woudl wait until evening and call from home, and if really urgent, wouldn't say the name Shanti a million times - a dead giveaway.

KV Karan's office - He is doing poojai. I really love this guy – he is a great actor and has a really funny accent. He is talking to god and bribing him with three mottais if god gives back Govindan to KV. The though of a mottai KV….. gives me the creeps.

Police arrive unannounced to his office and ask him about Govindan's whereabouts saying that he was the last person to speak with him. KV is really cute, he falls at the inspectors feet and says he really doesn't know and the minute he hears about him, he will contact police immediately.

Office Building Lift – Abhirami is about to get out of the lift when she sees RK in the lift lobby. RK enters without seeing her. Abhirami quickly presses button and asks him where he was going. 'Basement or mellai' in a very sarcastic voice. Se looks very gleeful and keeps needling him. RK remains calm. He tells her that she should go do Jambu Illam and think about what she is doing. She presses and asks are you saying 'I didn't' win? ' He says, 'Yes, I lost, but you didn't win'. She looks confused. Lift door opens and he leaves without a backward glance.

Abhirami's office desk – Abhi is meeting with Srinivasan. She has apparently just told him about the encounter with RK and he is reassuring her that RK must have read a couple of books in the ashram and must have been spouting nonsense. He said that what RK said is the usual losers song, so she should dismiss it.

Some chappie enters and says that some bank managers are waiting outside to meet her regarding payment of the money for the granite plant. Srinivasan has a glint in the eyes. He tells her to ask the managers to wait. The chappie goes and informs managers to wait awhile.

Srinivasan asks her about the loan. Abhirami says that long ago, in RK's time they bought this ailing granite plant with 5 crores loan from the bank. Abhirami says they meant to repay it but with all the investment into software and hotels the money was locked up. They didn't' have spare money from other businesses to repay either interest or principal of the granite plant loan.

Srinivasan confirms with her 'was this loan taken when RK was around' When abirami replies in affirmative, he says, 'then RK msut have signed on the surety. When the bank managers come, just tell them that you have no idea about that loan and that you will not repay it as it is RK's loan and he is responsible' Srinivasan leaves happily. Abhirami is happy too.. she is in deep thought.

10 Nov 2005 Episode

Abhirami office - Abhirami tells the bank managers that she will not pay the loan as RK was the person who took the loan and he signed the surety. The bank managers argue a bit, but finally agree and leave the room when she says they are free to take any legal action. Abhirami and Srinivasan look thrilled!

RK Home - Karthik ushers in the bank managers who go on to tell RK about how he is the person who had to repay the loan which now is 7 crores. RK's face falls. Karthik is shocked. After the manager leaves, Raji is very distressed and keeps sayign the people who did this will suffer. Karthik says that it must be Srnivasan who gave Abhirami this idea. RK looks worried, but then he tells them to relax.

Lawyer Prakash's home - RK, Madan adn Shanti are discussing options. Lawyer says that they have no recourse but to pay the loan and then work on a process to prevent such a thinkg from happening in the future. They all are very distressed. Lawyer says he will keep thinking for any other options.

Ramya's place - Ramya and Raj are having dinner. Mother in law is serving and they are having a nice easy banter, mother in law is lavishing love and attention on them and they are laughing and eating. nice happy family scene. Ramya suddenly gets up and rushes - she is sick and faints.

Doctor comes in and informs the family that Ramya is in the family way. Amazing doctor, can deduce this by testing the pulse. Raj and mother in law are thrilled and Ramya says she wants to inform Abhirami.

She acts silly, very shy on the phone, but finally abhirmai deduces that Ramya is pregnant. She tells her that Ramya is lucky to get the 'kuzhandai bhagyam' that was denied to her.

Abhirami comes to visit Ramya. Mother in law not to happy to see her but offers to get coffee. Abhirami hugs ramya gives sweets, ramya feeds abhirmai and gives mother in law sweets as well. Mother in law goes into the kitchen.

Abhirami and Ramya sit to talk. Abhirami mentions the lucky part again saying she is unlucky that even though she has so much money, she can't have kids.

Ramya tells abhirmai that she was veyr upset to hear RK mama is in trouble yet again with some loan that he might not be able to pay back.

Ramya says 'poor rk mama, he is getting sodhanai melai sodhanai'. Abhirami has a sly and happy smile and says, she was supposed to ahve paid the loan, and she could if she wanted to, but she wants RK to suffer and thats is why she made the bank managers go to RK for the money.

Rmaya looks shocked.

The mother in law hears this last part as she about to enter the room.

11 Nov 2005 Episode

Raji's place - Madan, Karthik and Raji are standing by Rk each giving their opinion of what they think of Abhirami and what they want to do to her. RK looks calm and tells them that he is very calm in his mind and asks them to forget this entire incident, especially, Abhirami. He says he will deal with it. He says, Jamboo fed the poor girl with wrong information and wrong ideals and she was misled into behaving in this fashion. Madan and Karthik are not happy with RK's advice. They ask Raji to take care of her health.

Chamber - Madan looking extremely smart in suit is walking adn all and sundry wish him Good Morning President Sir.

When he reaches his car outside, we hear a female voice sayign Good Mornign President. Its Abhirami.

She needles him unnecessarily talkign about how RK has become totally quiet as he was scared of her and how she is going tomake it her life's work to make them miserable.

Madan is quite annoyed, but controls his temper adn tells Abhirami that she will meet with teh fate she deserved and walks off to his car leaving her looking pensive.
Lawyer Prakash Club - Inspector gani comes to meet the lawyer. Lawyer asks him to intensify search for Govindan.

Abhirami's office - Shyam asks Abhirami how Ramya is doing. Abhirami sounds upset adn says that Ramya has also begun to advise her like Shyam does adn asks Shyam to refrain from advising.

KV Karan calls asking for the interest installment for money (25 Lakhs) that he lent her earlier. She seems a bit upset to take the call in front of Shyam, but somehow manages to assure KV that she will return the money. Shyam is curious to know who called and insists on her replying. She gets very upset and says some client and asks him to leave the room and do his work.

Shyam leaves feeling very upset and angrily sits at his desk. Deepa is curious and watches him from her desk. Shyam sees her watching. She quickly averts her eyes. The phone rings, its Abhirami. She asks Deepa to come to her office immediately.

At her office, Abhirami asks Deepa to go to the bank and draw 25 lakhs immediately. She hands over a cheque to deepa and tells her that she will instruct hte bankm manager over the phone. Deepa returns to her desk looking at the cheque curiously. Shyam sees her returning with cheque and looks at her suspiciously.

14 Nov 2005 Episode

Deserted Forest like area – Abhirami is walking with a briefcase looking for someone. We spot KV karan leaning against a tree (film hero style). She sees him and hands over the money. KV karan says why all this drama to meet in out of city location to hand over money and she says that with Govindan on the run, it would be dangerous for her to meet KV karan in case they are spotted by the police. She demands the pattram for the money, but KV karan says that he didn't bring the pattram in a hurry to come to this godforsaken place. Abhirami is not very happy with this, but she hands over the money and walks to her car.

At the car, she sees Shyam in a bright purple shirt looking very dapper, leaning against her car. She is totally amazed and asks him what he was doing there. Shyam demands and explanation for why she gave 25lakhs to KV. Abhirami tries to reason with Shyam to leave her alone, but he is persistent, she finally screams at him and says that he has no business questioning her and that she is not answerable to him.

Raji's place – Raji gives an envelope to RK and RK opens it and reads. He looks upset. Raji insists that he tells her what he read. He says it was the notice to return the bank loan in 30 days. He says he will handle it but Raji is very very distressed. She talks ill about Abhirami and RK says to her that it was his fault and she shouldn't blame Abhirami.

Departmental Store – Shanti and Deepa at plastics section, talking, but pretending to be shopping. Deepa appraises Shanti about the money Abhirami asked her to withdraw without Shyam's knowledge and the fact that she gave the money to KV. Shanti is puzzled by this and thanks Deepa for the information.

Ramya's house – Shyam brief's ramya about the showdown he had with abhirami regarding 25 lakhs and KV karan. Ramya is very upset.

Abhirami's house – Ramya enters looking very angry. Abhirami descends down the stairs looking very good. Ramya instantly confronts her about the money and KV karan. Abhirami gives her the same answer saying they should not interfere with her life. Shyam is watching from upstairs, he gives Ramya an indication that she should leave, and Ramya stomps out. Abhirami looks very distressed.

Coffee table at restaurant – Shanti and Arjun are waiting for inspector Gani. Gani arrives in a motorcycle. Arjun tells him about Abhirami giving KV karma 25 lakhs without Shyam's knowledge. Gani shows them the pictures of Abhirami and KV karan that he took some time back. Shanti and Arjun are surprised to see them. Gani tells them that he has not been able to find any link between Abhirami and KV karan. Shanti suggests to plant a mole in KV kanran's office. Gani says, not so easy to plant anyone there as KV karan would be careful of who he employs.

They leave. (incidentally, they don't even allow Gani to finish his coffee but start walking from the table, and poor Gani gulps down the coffee as they are walking away).

At the parking lot , Shanti is about to open the car door, Arjun is unlocking his motor cycle. The mad pichakaran chap,Ramakrishna turns up and says hello arjun. Then he spots Shanti and says hello madam. Shanti gives him a ultra bright smile and says hello back to him. Ramakrishna sees Insp Gani and gets frightened. He turns as if he is going to slink away, camera freezes, with Gani looking surprised, Shanti and Arjun looking surprised and concerned.

15 Nov 2005 Episode

Restaurant Parking Lot - Inspector Gani reassures Ramakrishna that he wont arrest him. Shanti is surprised and asks Gani how he knew Ramakrishna.

Gani tells Arjun and Shanti the story. He says that he knew Ramakrishna from his days when he was posted in Thirunelvelli. He said that Ramakrishna was a wealthy mill owner, but had taken some loan from KV in bad times. He was unable to return the loan and take the pressure from KV karan. In despair he and his family - wife and child, attempted suicide. Unfortunately for him, the wife and child died, and he survived. Inspector gani said that citinig compassionate reasons, Ramakrishna was left by the police.

Shanti looks with sympathy towards Ramakrishna and says that he is very brave. She then asks him if he would like to join their crusade against abhirami thru KV karan. He agrees. gani also agrees. She says that he must pretend to be a mentally unstable person adn plant himself in KV's vicinity. Ramakrishna says he is pleased to help.

Lawyer Prakash's place - RK gives him the notice and the list he prepared from memory of all the loans he has taken. Lawyer assures him that he has checked iwith all other banks and cleared with them that Rk is not responsible for Abhirami industries affairs. He says he is still workign on this case adn will definitely try his best to get more time. He reassures RK that he will try to negotiate for a deal in which he can pay off the money in small installments. RK tells lawyer that he is fine, but his family is very upset with all this.

Raji's house - All the kids are there. Anitha, Swati, Madan, Karthik. Rohini is also there. The girls tell RK that they got all the money and pattrams that he gave them. Madan says that he has applied for a loan from the bank too. Rohini says she will take care of the logistics at the bank.

RK feels overwhelmed, but refuses their help. He says this is a personal vendatta that Abhirami and he are having and they should keep out. RK says they should focus on their family, their problems, their life and let RK deal with Abhirami in his own way. He insists that Abhirami is a 'chinna ponnu' who doesn't know what she is doing. They all look upset. Rk walks out of the room with a reassuring smile.

Abhirami's office - Srinivasan lets himself into the office and sits down. He tells abhirami that he has good news. Abhirami is looking at her file, not bothering with Srinivasan at all. He tells her that the bank has sent the notice of recovery to RK. Abhirami still ignores him. Srinivasan then says to abhiarmi that they must help each other and not be on each others case. She says 'i know you are talkign about mohan' srinivasan says ' i am not scared of mohan, the police has closed the moorthy death case. no one will belive mohan. ' she looks confused.

Srinivasan then says i have mohan with me and calls out aloud. Mohan enters looking very sheepish. Abhirami is stunned. He asks Mohan to leave.

Abhirami says waht about the hotel. Srinivasan says 'you were supposed to give me what i wanted as i helped you, but you cheatd me. so the hotel.'. He says ' lets forget all that and join our hands in this fight against Rk'. he leaves. Abhirami looks a bit afraid.

KV Karan's house / office - Ramakrishna is sitting on the steps looking crazy. KV arrives with his men. One of the men try to remove Ramakrishna forcibly.KV recognises Ramakrishna and is very happy thinking that Ramakrishna didn't recognise him. He asks his man to let him alone. Ramakrishna says he is very hungry. KV asks his man to get him some food. Ramakrishna looks very pleased with the progress.

Roadside - ARjun is driving his bike trhu the street. He comes across Shyam standing by his car. He stops. Surprisingly Shyam is not too hostile. Arjun asks Shyam why Abhirami was intent on torturing RK. Shyam doesn't seem to understand anything. Arjun mentions the loan that Abhirmai wants RK to pay. shyam apparently knows nothing of this. He looks confused. Arjun threatens him to ask Abhirami to pay up.

Camera freezes with Shyam looking thoughtful.

16 Nov 2005

Abhirami's office - Shyam confronts her about the loan she is getting RK to pay and Abhirami dismisses him. This happens in front of Deepa.

Restaurant table - Deepa is informing SHanti about Shyam's outburst and Shanti says they should use this information to divide Shyam and Abhirami.

SHanti's office - She calls Lakshmanan from the ashram and asks him to come over to Madras, with the view to convince Shyam and Ramya that RK is the good guy

Ramya's house - Shyam comes to tell Ramya of this development about loan and how he is unhappy. Srinivasan comes in and hears Shyam sayign that abhirami is doign bad stuff and soemone is encouraging her. Major fight. Srinivasan tries to hurt his wife. Ramya pulls her mamiyar but ends up falling down. She is clutching her stomach lying on the floor.

Ramya's house - a review of the way Ramya fell down... Srinivasan trying to strangle his wife in anger, Ramya trying to pull mamiyar apart and Ramya falls down clutching her stomach crying amma.

They all stand and look at her. Then Gautam rushes and picks her up, Shyam helps to carry her. Gautam gives a dirty look to his father on the way out of the house.

Hospital corridor - Mamiyar is very anxious. Gautam looks extremely angry. Srinivasan is slinking away int he backdrop.. looking like a wronged man. Shyam begins to call abhirami, gautam stops him and says that they should wait for the doctors assessment first.

Shyam apologises saying everything was his fault. he shoud not ahve come and involved ramya with his problems. Gautam reasures him and says it was not his problem, but it was his fathers fault. Srinivasan hears that and gives gautam a 'look'.

The doctor comes out and says that Ramya is fine. They all look relieved. But.the doctor says.. as she hurt herself very strongly in the stomach area, she has miscarried. All the three feel terrible and mamiyar starts to cry.

KV Karan's office - Ramakrishna is dusting every bit of the room and then lights the lamp, puts flowers for the god, and lights the soodam. He hears a car stopping and rushes out and takes KV karan's briefcase and sets it on the table upside down.

KV Karan looks at Ramakrishan's work and sees the upside down briefcase and is very amused. He asks his men how Ramakrishnan was doing. They said that he was 'clueless'. KV says thats to their benefit, it is good that he doesn't understand anything. Ramakrishna looks very interestedly.

Raji's House - Shanti brings Lakshmanan in the car to Raji's house. Laks looks at the house with nostalgia and says this was the first house rk purchased and that all the friends were together then.

They go into the house and Shanit calls out for RK and raji. RK is very pleased to see Laks. Raji enquires about his daughter uma, and Laks is amazed that she remembers.

Rajis says to him that he was there when they registered the house and it was Laks who insisted that this house should be in Rjis name, thanks to that request, today, Raji and RK had a roof on their heads.

Raji also says she is very grateful to Laks as he brought RK back to them.

Laks and RK exchange a bit of similar banter - you saved me, thank you and so on.

Laks then says, Shanti told him about Abhirami's wrong doings esp the loan matter. He asks who was handlign the case and RK says Lawyer Prakash. Laks syas, then the case is yours, you have won! but SHanti says lawyer has said that Rk would hav to pay the money. Laks says it is not a big deal for him and that he could pay off the loan for RK, but he wants to take some kind of action on Abhirami nad make her pay it herself. But he says everyone in the RK family shoudl cooperate with him. THey all agree and feel very hopeful.

Hospital Room - Ramya is lying on the bed and she hears a baby crying nearby and bursts out crying. Abhirami tries to console her. Ramya says she dreamt to have a baby and dreamt that Abhirami will 'thalatu' it. Atbhirami tells her that the doctor said her gharbapai was okay, and that she will have children later. Abhirami said that she will konji the children ramya will give birth to.

Mamiyar says that ramya was young and can give birth to a dozen kids. not to worry. but she was worried about the way srinivasan was behaving. Gautam says he is not going back home but asks Abhirami to take Ramya to her house and that he will fix an apartment and take Ramya there. That he didn't want ramya to cry because of his father.

Srinivasn's bedroom - His wife brings him his milk but walks off after keeping it on the table. Srinivasan calls her back. She then accuses him of killing their grandchild. He refutes the charges saying it was an accident. Ramya shoudl have known better and stayed back. He was hitting his wife, who was ramya to interfere.

She is disgusted and tells him that thanks to his antics, Gautam was going to stay in a seperate house and said that he would never step into this house.

Srinivasan is shocked.

Guest House - Laks is pacing up and down the hall and the white call taxi pulls up. A very glamorous looking girl dressed in fancy clothes wearing HUGE earrings steps out and smiles.

Camera freeezes. End of episode.
