Was this the original concept? Well, yes and no! Archana and Manav didn't have many scenes together before marriage to understand one another. Manav tried to infrom Archana about his job and income, but Manju adjusted everything for the wedding to proceed. Sulochana came to know the truth and took Archu with her (same as hindi) and Manav tells Sulochana about him telling Archu the truth. This leads to Sulochana misunderstanding her own daughter, but she later realises that Archana didn't know anything about Manav and sends her to Manav's house. Archu treats Manav as her husband only outside their room, but inside they're strangers,😃 Then Archu slowly starts falling for Manav, but family problems (caused by Savita, Sulochana, Manju and her family) forces Sulochana to take Archu with her. Living apart, love grows stonger and their stuggle to get together forms the next stage.
Archana's mindset is clearly different in both versions.😃 Now coming back to the present question - misunderstanding between Manav and Archu (hindi) - I say Archu has less valid reasons (considering Archu's character and how much she knows Manav) to doubt Manav.
Hope I didn't give away much of the story, or confused anyone further.
