Was this the original concept??

Well, as we all know, happy days are back again for Archana and Manav with the Bidaai finally taking place. But I was wondering if this is the same as the original concept of the Tamil hit 'Tirumathi Sevlam' from which it is adapted. Has anybody here seen the original?

I think the separation track between the leads in 'Tirumathi Sevlam' was much long than what has been shown in Pavitra Rishta. Can't say much about 'Tirumathi Sevlam' since I have not watch the serial myself. But I really hope Ekta and her team stays away from saas-bahu kitchen politics and don't meddle with the original concept.

Like Yas wrote above, the separation track between the leadcouple was longer in "Thirumathi Selvam", it took months there in TMS than here in PR. Actually they got separated twice so I donno what Ekta have in store here🤔 Things happens faster here😉

Had same thoughts..even title song shows that they are separated still living for each other. May be, once Archana falls in love with Manav, such a journey will start. Another separation must be in store.

I would not be too happy about the current bidai and Manav and Archana living together. i am sure that Archana and Manav will have more than a rocky start. There are just too many problems headed their way and they are both not emotionally so strong in their feelings for each other to stand those problems yet.

LIke yesterdya's epi, Archana chose her mother's happiness over maintaing a relationship that was a few seconds old. And that is expected as she has not formed a bond with Manav as yet. Manav claims to love her but is that really love? isn't it more a strong liking for her character and respect for her. And now they have a legitimate relationship so the feelings are set as genuine and rightful. But how much would Manav really stand with her against his family? The family that does so many wrong things and yet he turns a blind eye to it becuase he loves them blindly. Just like he sacrifices himself for his family, would he not do that with his relationship with Archana?

All i can say is wait and see. I really do hope that the script is not too different from the original. Like someone said, the matter of husband and wife living separately and being each other's support was truly novel for Hindi serial. I was looking forward to that happening. I don't mind that it may happen sooner than it did in Tamil version but at least don't change the basic track.

I think Ekta did a better job by this track of Archu going to manav place if not it would drag little more and i think is conscious not to drag the separation of manav and archu.But i am sure we will see lot of drama now.
I am happy for this track because we will get see more Arman scene

@ JC : You have exactly voiced what I felt. I really wanted Archana to understand Manav and his circumstances before going to his place. She is really not prepared for the culture shock she will experience when she goes there. Plus Manav is too gullible to even doubt his family.

Looks like the return of kitchen politics and saas bahu drama.... i really hope not...
