There is no doubt that Upmaa failed as a mother to all her children, both biological and adopted. Two of them, Doshu and Makkhi, have turned into criminals, and her poor upbringing played a major role in that. As the saying goes, “Charity begins at home.”

In August 2025, Upmaa staged a dramatic act of disowning Doshu after all his repeated crimes, only to accept him again within days. It exposed how hollow her so -called tough decisions really are. Despite failing so badly in her own home, she still has the nerve to lecture Rajendar, the son of Dukhmukh’s friend, about a son’s duty toward his parents.

Not just Doshu and Makkhi — even Dukhmukh himself has been nothing but a burden. He loudly calls Upmaa his “beti,” yet when the TamaShah gang (Doshu, Makkhi, Vanar, and Mawali Jhuli) insulted and humiliated her, he stood silent. Every time chaos was about to erupt at Kachrakunj, he quietly walked away instead of standing up for the daughter he proudly claims.

Big words. Zero action. That has been the real pattern.

Choti Upmaa has damaged her own marriage by bringing Prerna, Rajni’s only daughter, into the Kothari House without thinking about the consequences. Instead of protecting her relationship, she created space for confusion and interference.

Vasundhara Kothari is so obsessed with her demand that both couples — Choti Upmaa and Phaltu Prem, and Precious Pari and Nikamma Raja—must become parents, that she may go to any extent to see her wish fulfilled. If this pressure continues, it would not be surprising if she pushes for Prerna to be married to Phaltu Prem. In that case, both Phaltu Prem and Prerna may end up living comfortably off the diamond business run by Pan Parag rather than building anything on their own.

Meanwhile, Gautam has already started planning moves against Choti Upmaa and Anss, slowly trying to regain Pan Parag’s trust. The biggest problem is that the carelessness and poor decisions of Phaltu Prem, Choti Upmaa, Nikamma Raja, Precious Pari, and Anss are making Gautam’s job easier. When people lack clarity and strength, they unknowingly open the door for someone more calculating to take control.

Weak choices. Poor judgment. And the consequences are slowly unfolding.
