Big Zee Wedding

Zee organised a grand wedding at RK Studio for Archana and Manav of Pavitra Rishta. Buzz is that they have spent close to two-and-a-half crore on this event. Ekta Kapoor, who is producing the shows, is tipped to make an appearance in the episode.

The wedding will see a huge participation of the Zee TV artistes and live performances by the participants of Hero Honda Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L'il Champs and Lux Dance India Dance. Every minute detail, right from the layout of the sets to the ushers' costumes has been done in a classic Maharashtrian way.

Wedding was in detail ...but could have been better ....maybe i had higher expectations ....but since they were doing a live thing for the first time ..u cant complain much!!!!!

The wedding episodes were good, but the bloopers, and lack of continuity was annoying. Balaji needs to tighten up the editing.

2.5 crore on a wedding(?). I didn't see anything 2.5 crore worth.

it didn't luk like 2.5 crore wedding though i enjoyed watching ArMan(Loved their shyness,Pheras n every rituals)..bcoz both of them were luking really cute..:)

I guess 2.5 crore were spent bcoz of the people who attended the wedding. They had dinner, gifts and everything else like a proper marriage. Earlier also we saw taht when archu's mom called people to the wedding she gave them gifts. Plus all the promotion was done, it couldnt hv been for free.

I for one, am totally satisfied with the way the wedding turned out. Even though it was known that 2.5 crore r being spent, i didnt expect an all n out total lavish wedding. It would hv been unrealistic on the other hand to see such a lavish wedding by a simple middle class family.

I think all the money was pumped into promotion and hospitality only.
