As Madhav's flashes starts getting clear he is even more confused and can't make any sense of what is happening. He is addressed as Mohan by an unknown voice... yet he has a strong sense of deja vu at several occasions. Kalika tells him the story that he is reborn and they were lovers in the past.
Kalika's story: Mohan (Original Thakur's son) and Radhika were childhood sweethearts. Kalika is sent into the house by the Rival Thakurs to destroy Mohan's family; and Kalika with her witchcraft does succeed in it. But in the end, she herself ends up falling in love with Mohan!
Through her scheming ways she creates a rift between the two families and she buries Radhika alive in the Haveli. When Mohan realises the truth, he kills himself and Kalika is left alone. She vows that he has to return.
Meera (Radhika) is born as the daughter in the family of the rival Thakurs but she suffers form serious bouts of spells. She indulges in dance and awaits the return of Mohan. The family thinks she's mad and keeps her locked. With Madhav coming into the haveli things begin to change.
