Kapil hails from Jaipur and is a postgraduate in retail management. He quit his high profile and well paying job to be a part of Rakhi's Swayamvar. His hobbies include modeling and singing and he has also won the coveted title of Mr. Jaipur a few years ago. Rakhi to him is honest, frank and clean-hearted. He loves her bindass attitude. Kapil thinks that there is nothing wrong in doing an item number.

According to him, there are many ways of getting famous: through films, TV and item songs. He says that one definitely needs the grace, the poise and the body to do an item song. Understanding forms his prerequisite to a marriage. Without understanding and trust, a marriage cannot survive. Money is only required to maintain the lifestyle of the couple. However, he is of the opinion that post-marriage, he would love Rakhi to wear traditional outfits, at least in front of his parents.
