Ratan and Padmini reach the same spot where they encountered the holy man; but what they can see is the desert stretched for miles and not a soul to be seen. The old hut is missing too. Both Ratan and Padmini look confused. They just see the remains of the Laxman Rekha drawn by the holy man. Both Padmini and Ratan exchange horrified looks. However, Ratan tells Padmini that this is the beauty of the desert and it teaches you not to believe everything that you see, and some things are better left unknown! Still in shock, both of them go back to their camp. In Khiljee's darbar, the officer throws Chandraprabha infront of Khiljee and tells him that she was trying to run away. Khusro is surprised to see her being treated like that and leaves. Khiljee tells Chandraprabha that no one can escape without his permission. He then tells her that he wishes to give her a gift because of being so courageous, he looks at Kafoor and he knows what to do. Two soldiers catch hold of Chandraprabha, one of Khiljee's prime man comes towards her with a hot mould of the coin, which has Khiljee's face on it, and it is put on Chandraprabha's face. Chandraprabha howls. We see Taiba hiding behind a curtain looking at all this and is horrified to see Chandraprabha. Khiljee looks very happy, he holds Chandraprabha's face in his palms, and shows it to everybody around as a new success story. Kafoor too is seen enjoying the scene but at one point he turns as he feels that there is someone else watching the whole drama. As he turns, Taiba notices his action and her disappearing coincides with his turning. She leaves but the curtain that moves suggest that someone was hiding there. Kafoor looks certain with suspicion.
Finally Padmini and Ratan Singh are together alone. They sit in the moon light and have an intimate conversation. We see from the back someone looking at them through a bush. Suddenly someone puts a sword towards him, it is Gora. Ratan and Padmini realize that something is wrong, Ratan quickly gets up, takes out his sword and moves in that direction. Padmini looks worried.
Back in Chittod, Nagmati is seen sitting looking very restless, she first gets a flash of Padmini's beautiful painting in Ratan's room and then a flash of her sending one of her spy's to find out everything about Padmini. Suddenly she hears someone playing a flute she wonders what Chetan Raghav is doing in her palace so late in the night and without her permission. However, she is shocked to see Yashovardhan entering her room playing with the flute given to him by Chetan. He is not as accomplished as Chetan but the tone of the flute and the same melody he is trying to recreate gives her goose bumps. She keeps on staring at him with horror! He stops playing and tells her looking very excited that his new friend Chetan Raghav who is very nice, taught him to play the flute. Nagmati does not know how to react.
At the base camp, the person who was caught by Gora is brought infront of Ratan Singh. When Ratan asks him who he is, where he is from and who sent him. He finally gives in and says that he is a royal messenger from Chittod sent by Nagmati. Ratan looks shocked to hear that. Padmini and Gora look at Ratan very surprised. Ratan and Padmini share a concerned look. When Gora comes to know that Nagmati has sent the spy, he asks Ratan what is happening and why his people have sent someone to spy on them. Padmini immediately intervenes and tells both of them that Nagmati must have meant no harm when she sent the spy and her only intention must have been to make sure they are safe. But Ratan is still not convinced that he is from Chittod and when he asks him for proof to prove that, he tells Ratan about Nagmati taking him to see Padmini's picture in his room. Ratan realizes that the man is honest and tells him to go and inform the person who sent him that he is coming home with his new queen in a few days and to make sure they are welcomed grandly. After everyone leaves, Ratan asks Padmini why she lied again but Padmini says that she just said what she feels. Ratan is very impressed when he hears that and both of them start having a close conversation with finally nothing to come in between the two of them. We can see Padmini with her hair open for the first time. We can see Ratan's face through her open hair. Dim light is falling on them from behind. Only sounds of different ornaments can be heard while on Padmini and after they are removed and placed on the side. We then see different ornaments falling a little away from each other making a dangling sound. We see finally see Ratan removing Padmini's nose ring.
In Chittod, Nagmati is seen sitting infront of a mirror getting ready, just then the spy she sent to check on Padmini enters her palace. She asks him very calmly what news he has brought her. She tells him that Ratan Singh is bringing his new queen back in a few days. Nagmati gets upset when he calls Nagmati who is very furious grabs the painting from Yashovardhan, throws it out of the window and slaps Yashovardhan. Yashovardhan leaves the room crying. We see a painting of Padmini flying down and at one point, it lands on the floor. A hand comes and picks it up; it is Chetan who smilingly looks at the painting and says to it, Rani Padmini the whole of Chittod are eagerly waiting to welcome you.
Ratan Singh and Padmini are on the hilltop as rest the of the camp is packing up. Ratan Singh shows Padmini the probable location of Chittod from the hill top. Padmini looks impressed and happy.
Somewhere is the middle of a dense jungle. Khiljee seems to have come back from a hunt. He looks very happy. Kafoor is waiting for him to arrive outside his tent. Kafoor who has been sitting in front of a huge map of ancient India welcomes Khiljee. Kafoor informs Khiljee that his favourite generals have reached Ranthambor and would start surrounding the fort very soon and on their way, they have attacked Somnath and have removed the shivling from there. Khiljee smiles. As they continue their conversation, Taiba comes to them and very graciously asks Khiljee if he would like something to drink. Kafoor gets upset and tells her not to disturb them when they are discussing work but surprisingly Khiljee takes Taiba's side and talks back to Kafoor. Kafoor is speechless. A victorious Taiba smiles and walks towards Khiljee's highly guarded tent. Kafoor stops her and tells her that she has to be checked before she enters. Taiba stares at Khiljee. Khiljee just by gesture asks Kafoor to let her in. She smiles sarcastically to Kafoor and as she enters Khiljee's tent, Kafoor exchanges a look with one of the soldiers and the soldier runs behind the tent. Kafoor then turns to Khiljee again and says that he only did this for his security when he asks him why he let her go in just like that when he doesn't even let his wife who he knows for so many years enter without a security check. Khiljee very confidently tells him that Taiba can only leave him or break his trust when someone stronger than him which is very less likely comes in her life till then it is useless doubting her.
In Chittod, Abha Devi comes into Nagmati's chamber and tells her that she is not very happy about her sending the spy without her permission to keep an eye on Ratan Singh. Nagmati tells her that she was just making sure her husband was ok and she need not take anyone's permission to do so. Then Abha Devi tells her that she had no right to order the spy to be blinded and only Samar Singh can make such a decision and on his absence, she can. Nagmati does not know what to say to this. Abha Devi goes ahead and tells Nagmati not to displace the anger that she has on someone else on some one who is innocent. She tells her if she was angry with Padmini and made such a decision, then she can forgive her but if she was angry with Ratan and did so, then she had better be careful. Nagmati tells her that Ratan is her husband and she will never get upset with him but it is Padmini who is the cause of her anger, who has still not reached Chittod and has already started creating havoc here. Nagmati also tells Abha Devi that if she told her that she was sending the spy she would not have allowed her to. Nagmati ends her conversation by telling Abha Devi that she herself is displacing her anger that she has on someone else onto her but this will soon get over once Padmini comes to Chittod.
Ratan and Padmini are seen riding side by side on their horses. Ratan looks excited as they approach Chittod and begins to tell Padmini that everyone in Chittod must be eagerly waiting to welcome them. Padmini tells Ratan Singh that she is a little apprehensive about how the Queen and Nagmati will react to her since the circumstances under which they got married were very uncertain. Ratan tells her that his mother will not leave any stone unturned in welcoming Padmini and she herself will personally come to welcome her. He tells her that Nagmati may be a little difficult to convince but she being Padmini will get along with her too very fast. Padmini looks convinced.
Back in Chittod, the Prime minister comes to meet Samar Singh. Abha Devi and Nagmati are also present there. The prime minister tells Samar Singh that the Barath has reached the gates of Chittod and all the preparations are done. He tells him that the palkis are ready to take Nagmati and Abha Devi along. Samar Singh is a little in undecided. To that, the prime minister says that his going will be a nice gesture of forgiving Ratan Singh. Nagmati immediately says that who says that the King has forgiven Ratan Singh. The Queen asks the prime minister to leave. Samar Singh decides not to go and tells Abha Devi not to go too because if she does that means she is representing him. Nagmati quickly tells Samar Singh that she will never think of disobeying him. However, Abha Devi tries to convince him by saying that she is Ratan's mother and would like to go and welcome him. Nagmati tells Abha Devi that Ratan Singh is her husband too and by him getting married to Padmini she feels she has lost him. She also says that her prime reason of not going to welcome Ratan Singh and his wife is that she feels Ratan Singh will understand her action and might repent and come back to her. Samar Singh tells Abha Devi that if she is having a problem making a choice he will help her out. Nagmati tells the King to not put the queen in such a dilemma. Samar Singh just tells her not interfere since it is between the Queen and him. Samar Singh then tells Abha Devi that she has to choose between being a good wife or a good mother leaving Abha Devi in a fix and Nagmati satisfied.
In the tent, Taiba is seen making some drink in a jar. Suddenly, the casual looking Taiba becomes cautious and starts looking all around, checking if nobody is looking at her. She glances at the closed tent window and turns back to the drink. As she turns back, the flap of the window opens and we see from the window prospective, Taiba taking out a packet from her blouse puts something into the drink. She looks all around once again to check if no body has seen her, she then picks up the tray and exits.
Outside the tent, Taiba gets the drink with a charming smile on her face. We see the same soldier standing behind Kafoor. She offers the drink to Khiljee. Kafoor and Khiljee are looking very serious. Taiba's smile vanishes, as Khiljee does not reciprocate it. When she asks Khiljee, what the problem is, instead of Khiljee replying to her, Kafoor tells her that Khiljee would like her to have the drink on his behalf. Khiljee shares a look with Taiba. Taiba looks clueless. Kafoor is very happy to have caught Taiba red handed. Taiba looks caught. Khiljee orders Taiba to drink the same drink.
In the middle of some other jungle as Khiljee's men are seen carrying the shivling as a gift for him, they are suddenly attacked by a group of soliders and loose badly. One handsome young knight who is seen for the first time saves the shivling. This same Knight is seen in front of another King Kannada Sonara on the other side of the forest. He is praised by the king for his bravery and is asked by him to re establish the shivling that was removed by Khiljee's men. The young Knight is overwhelmed and does as he is told.
Kafoor tells Taiba to consume the drink, Taiba suddenly looks determined, without any second thought, she raises the glass and gulps down the drink. A mean smile appears on Kafoor's face. Khiljee keeps on looking at her. Taiba suddenly looks a little different. Her expression suggests that she is not feeling well. As all are reacting to what effect it has on her, Taiba collapses on the ground and Khiljee gets up with a shock.
We see Chandraprabha and the old lady clad in burkhas stepping out of their house. Chandraprabha looks really scared and uncomfortable in that attire. The old lady tells her to take it easy. Chandraprabha just keeps on nodding to whatever she says. The old lady starts walking ahead. Chandraprabha is so tense that she just follows her without even realizing that she has still not put down her veil to cover her face. The old lady sees that and asks her if she wants to get caught, saying that she puts down Chandraprabha's veil and they start walking. Chandraprabha just keeps on nodding to whatever she says. The old lady starts walking ahead. Just then, Chandraprabha stops as she sees the old woman's son approaching the house. The old lady just holds her hand and takes her in opposite direction.
When the high ranked officer enters home, he finds something fishy when he sees Chandraprabha's ornaments lying around and both Chandraprabha and his mother not at home, he suddenly sees Chandraprabha's Kala Dhaga, picks it up and realizes something, he looks extremely furious. He throws the thread in the corner and rushes out of the house.
In the old man's hut, the old man then asks Ratan Singh a question that reveals that he is an adopted son. Gora and Padmini are shocked to hear that. The old man now asks Padmini two questions the first question is if a married man remarries should he consult his first wife? Padmini to that says that she is Kafoor looks jubilant. However, to his dismay Taiba gets up very unaffected. She gets upset and says she just did this act since she realized Khiljee does not trust her. She leaves and immediately Khiljee sends everyone out of the tent and warns Kafoor never to make the mistake of doubting Taiba again. Kafoor has nothing to say. Just as furious Khiljee leaves from there, Kafoor calls one of his guards and tells him to keep a close eye on Taiba and keep him informed about everything she does.
At Somnath, Gajendra Singh places the shivling after the pooja is performed. King Kannada Sonara is very happy with him. At that time, a messenger comes and gives Gajendra Singh a message that makes him very happy. He takes the King's leave even after the King asks him to stay for a few days telling him that he has to get to Chittod immediately.
Khiljee comes to Taiba's mahal to convince her since she gets very angry and upset after he did not trust her when it came to consuming the drink she made for him in the jungle. Taiba tries to play hard to get in the beginning but ultimately gives in to Khiljee.

The Barath is just about to reach Chittod's borders when Gora decides to go back to Sinhal Dweep since his duty is over. However, Ratan Singh tries his level best to convince him to stay a little longer. Gora after a lot of persuasion and insistence by Ratan Singh decides to stay. As the Barath finally reaches Chittod's borders, Ratan Singh is shocked to see nobody present to welcome them. Suddenly he notices some movement behind the mahadwaar, some dust flies and there appears Chetan Raghav! Ratan's shock turns into a little happiness as he sees Chetan but he is still confused as to why no one has come from the palace.
Gajendra Singh is seen riding with his troop through a beautiful desert.
Khiljee and Taiba are in bed together after burying the hatchet when Khiljee asks her to get out a secret from Chacheejaan that is very important, Taiba tells him that she will never tell her but asks him to ask Jalalludin's faithful servant Khushro to get it out from her. Khiljee is very happy with her advice. At that time Kafoor comes and tells him that his men have been defeated by King Kannada Sonara and Gajendra Singh of Chittod, Khiljee asks if he is the same prince who one the swayamvar in Sinhal Dweep but Kafoor tells him that, it was Ratan Singh his older brother. Khiljee then tells Kafoor that they have to forget about their plan of attacking Rajputana later and should start planning to attack it immediately since the Rajputana kings have left them no choice. Khiljee is very upset since the battle is lost but Kafoor assures him that this will never happen again.
Back at Chittod's borders, Chetan is mesmerized when he sees Padmini for the first time. Ratan Singh asks Chetan Raghav if the messenger he sent gave them the message of them reaching Chittod in a few days. Chetan Raghav tells him that the messenger came and the message was read too but it depends on the people who read the message if they want to come or not. He tells Ratan Singh that sadly no one from the royal family has come to welcome them. Ratan looks furious but just then they hear some voice from the background saying, "Who said no one from the royal family has come to welcome them" when they all turn in the direction of the voice we see Gajendra Singh. He smiles at Ratan Singh. Chetan looks horrified with this new development.
