Recently, she shared her hopes for her daughter Raha Kapoor’s future, expressing that she would love to see Raha pursue sports and possibly grow up to become a professional athlete. Alia mentioned that she would feel proud and happy if her daughter chooses that path someday.

During a conversation with Femina, Alia also opened up about Raha’s lively and energetic personality. She noted that even though Raha is just three years old, she already displays impressive stamina, enthusiasm, and a naturally active temperament that hints at a sporty spirit.

"I wish for her to actually be an athlete. She's so competitive and she's so athletic. She's only three, but she really jumps around like a bee in a bonnet," she said.

Alia on her mother’s influence in her life

Alia also reflected on the influential people in her life, identifying her mother, Soni Razdan, as her most significant inspiration. She shared how she observed her mother balancing raising her and her sister with her enduring passion for acting in both theatre and television.

Alia stated, "I think, starting with my family. My mother, the strongest, most impactful influence growing up, watching her navigate through raising me and my sister, and still keeping the fire of wanting to be an actor alive in herself, whether she did it through theatre or through television."

Alia’s personal & professional front

Alia and Ranbir Kapoor tied the knot on April 14, 2022, in a private ceremony at their Mumbai home. Their daughter, Raha, was born on November 6 of the same year.

Alia has a busy schedule ahead with several upcoming projects. Her next appearance will be in Alpha, part of Yash Raj Films' spy universe, co-starring Sharvari and Bobby Deol. Additionally, she is set to collaborate with Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal again in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love & War, scheduled for release next year.
