King Khan SRK shed tears on hearing that the legendary King of Pop Michael Jackson is no more. The actor admitted that he was shaken to the core on learning that MJ has met a tragic death just before the onset of his O2 tour. "I cried, it was since long I cried. My wife and kids also cried," admitted Shah Rukh, remembering the megastar woefully.

Describing himself as a die-hard fan of Jacko, King Khan said, "I felt very sad. I had met him. He was a wonderful creation of God". The actor revealed his emotions while talking to reporters in London at a ceremony where an Honorary Doctorate was conferred on him by Bedfordshire University.

"The only music I knew or heard during the last three four years is that of Michael Jackson. I don't have any understanding of other western music," SRK said.

"I felt I lost my youth when I heard Michael Jackson pass away," he added. Jacko's death has been mourned by entertainers throughout the world. The 50-year-old pop icon's sudden demise due to suspected cardiac arrest on June 25 shocked artists and fans across the globe.

SRK said rightly - with Jacko, died a generation that fed on his music.

I agree, can we please callig him Jacko seriously now that he's dead can we get a little respect for the original King of Pop!
