charity was a lie :(:(

when nach baliye was announced it was said that tele actors are participating for their choice of charity. the price money was also low. i read somehwere that as the show gained popularity the pairs were given more money per episode and winning amount was raised to 1 crore.

sachin-supriya got 1 crore and whenever someone asks about charity they casually skip the question or say that they will think about it.

The charity money was never the 50 lakhs. The votes garnered thru phone and sms were going to be paid in the form of charity. I don't see what the fraud is.

In the final, the winners were handed over a cheque of Rs. 50 lakhs only and not Rs. 1 crore,a s mentioned. AL and Mel got Rs. 20 lakhs.
The prize money was never intended for charity purpose. It was only the amount garnered through voting that was meant for charity. So, no fraud. Sorry.

i think even the prize money was for charity. not sure, but it'll be good if they spend 1/2 lakhs on that too.

Charity is always a good thing. But the prize money wasn't meant for charity, unless and until somebody meant to donate of their own to any charity fund.
