there are two sides of every coin!!!! It' depends on us....which way we want to perceive things!!!!!
It is true that whatever behavior and torture radhika has to face from her near n dear ones is indeed a sad reality in today's world....
But is it very real ..... very normal for one sister to get married n the other sent to her in-laws instead of her like this???? It's something we are not used to in our day-to day life...are we??
Radhika is vulnerable....she's innocent.... but is she innocent enough to not know the difference between right n wrong???
Radhika sacrificed herself for the happiness of others.....from what perspective? Doesnt she realize ...that the only person she has satisfied in this process in her extremely self-centered sister n her "cruel beyond words" ammaji?? whom else did she do justice to????
Dev??? her in-laws??? her father n mother???? will her parents be very proud about this when the truth comes out...... they will be stripped off their self-respect...... her father will be heart-broken that both of his daughters deceived him..... y doesnt she think about that???
CB actually is a scale of balance..... a balance between Justice and happiness...... Does one's happiness hold more weight than what is justice????????? what is right???????
by making others happy what radhika is doing is a grave injustice.... being a ardent disciple of lord Krishna, this is something she shouldnt support at all..........
It was lord Krishna himself....who reminded Arjun before the Mahabharata when he was on the verge of a breakdown, the difference between happiness and Justice...... When one's happiness comes in between what is right n wrong, it becomes more of a sin.... That's what our Geeta tells....
But again, this is not at all a thing to argue about!!!! We all have our views n opinions.....whatever I am saying is only my opinion....it will vary from person to person..... we cannot thrust our point of view upon someone else!!!! So.....let peace reign in this forum!!!!! 😊

amen to that pw! it is in the "eye" of the character- Rads is very clear on this point of being "just" wrt society and izzat. It remains to be seen how long Kahna would like to draw out this drama- after all it is said in our scriptures that all this "mitya" in the world is but a "dream" of the divine who is reclined on the sesh naag and just "dreaming". Nothing for us to get "worked up about" a dream! 😆

true...she's not doing justice to dev,the family etc..
but still if you look at radhika's point of view, she has been brought up in such a way that she doesn't really understand what true happiness is.. when dev fell in love with her, she was delighted but at the same time, she questioned herself did she have the right to love him because all her life, she has been taught that she's a servant and her own happiness doesn't matter
she just doesn't understand the difference between right and wrong, as u said.. which i hope she will in the time to come
great post!

prc fan- I doubt rads ever felt she was a servant- she truly felt she was the dutiful daughter more than happy to run around and do all the chores. it is one thing to willingly do all the work and not feel a servant and quite another to be "told' to do the work and which you resist. Living in the Us and having to do without servants, there is no issue here about working to your bone. And no one feels servile.

Yes indeed and I also think that Rads have been brought up in a way where she have to always listen to what Vish and Aama says and she can't suddenly turn her upbringing around
