I know how you feel. I didn't want Aasiya replaced either, but it seems creatives have decided to change! It's not in our hands. So the best option for us is to suggest some actresses that we like and hope that they choose a capable actress for good!

There should have been a third option for "Neither" since I think both are totally unsuited for Santo's role.

They both would look older than Maulik and Kaddu and lack Santo's innocence. Also, Shubhangi will remind me of Kasturi and Pallavi of Gauri and all their trials and tribulations and their multiple marriages. I won't be able to accept them as Santo. Only a new and fresh face who we have never seen before in any other show would suit as Santo and we have already got that in Aasiya -- I think the present Santo is great and SHOULD NOT BE REPLACED.
