Almost every show has been copied (or elements of it), or based on or inspired by what has come before it. So I don't think it's any great surprise that this show may also have elements similar to other pieces of work.
I also don't think that idea negates the fact that thus far, it has been a lovely story to watch. I expect some kind of familiarity (creativity is inspired by creativity), but I hope it doesn't have too much of the Ekta bakwas twists and turns.
If what we know so far is any indication, it hopefully wont.

every show has always ripped a hindi movie scene n repeated the same story line from other shows.../specaily when it comes to ekta/...so i don;t see anything big in that anymore...i just stopped watchin d drama n at d end was left drama -less... however i expect PR to be a little different..n so far it is...plus pretty used to it...however it really pisses me off when they copy a srk /ekta always does that/scene n the actors aren't able to pull it of.
