come on. I like the serial (so far), but come on, the story isn't any better than several movies.
A middelclass boy like a middelclass girl, but her middelclass mother (in movies its usually father) wants to get her married to a richer guy, so what does the boy do. He pretends that he is richer in front of the girl and her family. so her family is very happy, and the wedding is planned and performed.
But before the doli, suddenly everybody finds out that he is a garage owner and infact not rich at all, so the family gets annoyed and girl refuses to leave with a big fat liar.
from there starts a story of persuassion between those two, according to the PAVITRA RISHTA that they share.
Again a story, where two leads doesn't get eachother, before in the end I guess
