June 10 short update
Chacha and Chachi have crossed their limits. They drug up Seeta and tell Dadi that they will get Seeta married today as that's what Dadi wishes and after that Seeta will have to write up the property on their name.
Geeta arrives at Suraj's ad shoot and people wonder what a girl like Geeta is doing with Suraj. Suraj leaves to attend to some work and a model insults Geeta. Geeta slaps the girl who complains to Suraj and Suraj says Geeta did wrong by slapping her. Geeta tries to explain why she did it but Suraj says whatever the reason she should not have done that and Geeta storms off angrily.
Chachi dresses up Seeta as a bride and brings her down where the Pundit is already waiting with the groom who is an old man.
June 11
Dadi wheels herself into the hall as Seeta is walking down in bridal wear. The pundit tells groom to remove the sehra so he can do tilak and they all are shocked and sad to see and old man. Seeta is crying while chachi tells her to go sit with the groom. Dadi prays to God that this cannot be Seeta's fate and asks for a miracle to save Seeta. A servant comes running and tells them that Lawyer uncle is here.
Chachi tells the groom to run away while Lawyer uncle comes in and is surprised at what he sees. He asks Chacha for explaination who says they were preparing for a pooja. Seeta runs away from there crying and Lawyer asks why Seeta was in bridal wear and crying. Chacha tells him that lately Seeta has been acting funny and they didn't mention anything because Seeta is like their daughter but the truth is that Seeta is slowly loosing her mental balance. Lawyer doesn't believe him and goes to Seeta who is crying by the idols. He asks her to speak the truth and not to fear anyone. But Chacha is standing behind him with a threatening look. Seet is unable to say anything and Chachi says what they said is correct and now all they can do is get Seeta married soon and she even suggest that Ranjit would be ideal as Seeta would remain at home and no one will come to know of her illness.
Lawyer uncle looks at Seeta who shakes her head in negative and runs away crying. Chacha-Chachi are furious. Lawyer yells at them for even thinking such disgusting thing as Ranjit should be like an older brother to Seeta. Chacha says in a nice tone that Chachi speaks without thinking and they will marry off Seeta into a good family. But Lawyer tells them they won't do anything anymore and he'll be the one to choose the groom for Seeta. Dadi is happy.
Raka and Chotu comes to Geeta's house to find her trying on makeup and they are confused what she is doing. Then she tells them to help her choose some sexy clothes and Raka says why she is doing all this. Geeta says she wants to show to the stupid models that she is no less than them. Raka makes fun of the clothes saying they expose more than they hide and if she wears such things the dogs in the colony will run after her and take away whatever is remaining. Geeta kicks them out and Raka and Chotu think she will ruin their izzat today in front of the basti people. But Geeta comes out wearing an expensive saree looking beautiful and they get surprised. She walks through the basti to "masakali" in the background and everyone appreciates her. END
