If you think Anushka is the new girl in Shahid's life then let us set the facts right! We are just talking about Shahid Kapoor's character in Yashraj's next where he has gone extremely short with his hair.

Shahid Kapoor has proved that he is a complete method actor. After sporting long hair for his role in Vishal Bhardwaj's Kaminey, he is all set to go as short as a crew cut for the Yashraj project.

Anushka Sharma who is romantically paired opposite Shahid in this film by debutant director Parmeet Sethi, will also be seen sporting fringes - a big variant from her simple 'Punjab di kudi' look in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi.

Shahid Kapur grew long locks for Kismat Konnection and kept the look, with minor alterations, for Vishal Bharadwaj's Kaminey. Now the actor is looking forward to sporting a new look for his next film opposite Anushka Sharma.

The Yash Raj film is being directed Parmeet Sethi.

Parmeet and Shahid are in discussions with a stylist for the actor's new look — which we hear will have really short hair.

They have tried dyeing his hair to see which colour suits him — probably the reason why Shahid is seen wearing a Himesh Reshammiya trademark cap these days.
