A voice tells about how developed & progress our life become today….how science progresses lifestyle but still somewhere in villages even today there is not as much development. There girl child seems to be like Goddess Lakshmi but her marriage still believes as a difficult task like to reach Moon.
Scene shifts to an office where some local bihari staff talking in their regional language about cold. A man approaching an officer for somebody's work. That officer ask about bribe. As the bribe process is about to going on the main director(Bade Babu) comes there. All gets shocked on seeing him. Bade babu taunts the person & warns then if they don't leave then he'll call police.He forgives the agent as it was his 1st mistake. But before leaving him warns him not to repeat this again. Bade BAbu leave on his scooter & brought some sweets. As he about to leave a man comes to him & ask about the sweet matter as if there is any function at his home. Bade babu tries to ignore him by saying that it's as usual for children. After Bade babu's departure that man backbiting about him with other person that it's all same old drama of elder's daughter's wedding from 4 yrs. They make fun of him by saying if it remains like this that his all daughter will remain unmarried always. Both laughs.
Bade babu reached his home. Phone rings & Raja bhaiya introduced by receiving the call. On knowing about groom's arrival he excitedly directed them the house way on phone. All family members introduced one by one. All are excited. With a funny argument both Bade-Babu & his wife talks about society custom of showing Girls n all…. Sisters informs her mother that Bindiya Did is ready. Bindiya(protagonist) is introduced as very nervous & tensed while crying in her rom. Sisters consoles her elder sister by complementing her beauty. Father too praises his daughter & tries to comfort her by saying that she is very bold. Raja Bhaiya(Bindiya's bro) informs all about Groom's arrival.
Both Sisters locked themselves in a room as per her mother's instruction. Groom's party welcomed by Bade babu. At locked room younger Sis mimics her father & entertained her middle sis. Middle sis quites her. Younger sis(Renu) complaints about how they always hv to hide when somebody comes to see their Sister as What their fault of being more pretty than her Sis. Middle sis becomes sad on this.
Bade babu & his wife alongwith Raja bhaiya serves the girl visitors(groom side). Visitors wants to see the girl. Bade babu orders to bring Bindiya. Renu insist her middle sis to see groom secretly as soon they will be related. Middle sis is sad on the fact how Bindiya did suffered all this & how many time more she will hv to suffer all this.😭
Bindiya in her room shown to be sad & nervous. Her mother asks her to come with Tea tray. Groom's uncle sarcastically taunts on Bade Babu's simple lifestyle. The Groom's father says may it's just to show off as he has already 3-3 daughters sop may be he wants to save money for them. Groom's father asks about other 2 daughters. Raja Babu tells that they both are outside at their cousins house. Bindiya comes wearing saree. Bindiya nervously greets all. Bade babu & his wife praise Bindiya in academics & home based work. Uncle asks Bindiya about her name. Bindiya is very nervous & afraid. 😕
Bindiya replies. Uncle tells asks why she is so tensed as her voice may be misunderstood as stuttering. He further asks about her academics. Bindiya replies "B.A.(hons.)". Uncle asks to write her name. 😲The boy(groom) gives her pen & paper. Bindiya writes while her parents seem to be tensed. Uncle taunts that her writing is not so good. Groom's family seems to be not convinced. Another uncle from visitor's family asks Bindiya to stand up. 😡Bade babu looks disturbed by this. Bindiya obeys hesitatingly.He again asks her to walk. Bindiya seems to be disturbed. Uncle tells that they are just checking if the girl is lame or not as they hv seen some case. Bindiya's Mother tells that her daughter doesn't hv any demerit. That person further adds to walk bare foot as they want to check her height.😡This make Baade babu & family including Bindiya disturbed & awkward. Bindiya obeys while hesitating. Uncle taunts on her slowness. Bindiya while doing this looks his father cryingly and Bade babu feels ashamed.
Preview :- Bade Babu tells that he is unable to fulfill their demand but His wife quietens him & assures them it'll be managed. Uncle tells that they will hv to arrange anyhow as their son chooses their daughter but….
