I detest the whole Twilight Series. It's such an unoriginal plot. Meyers basically stole the plot from Wuthering Heights, Romeo and Juliet, and Pride and Prejudice. Of course, I read only the 1st one, and it bored the heck out of me that I doubt I would enjoy the rest of them. I need something completely original to enjoy it. I can't stand it when authors copy from otherb books.

Aside from "borrowing" the plots from books, she also "borrowed" the plot from Buffy the VAmpire Slayer the TV series. (think- Teenage girl falling in love with a Vampire with a soul!) And some of her "facts" such as how a Vampire is formed are reminiscent of Interview with a Vampire. - the book, not the movie!
Its very strange though, that even with all these "borrowings" the book still wasn't that good! šŸ˜†
And I only read Twilight too with no intention to continue!

The Da Vinci Code...the worst book ever written. Dont get me wrong...not content but the writing was soooooooo bad...I could barely get through half of it without feeling the urge to shake the life out of Dan Brown or grab a pen and start correcting it.

The worst book I read was "Heart of Darkness" by Joseph Conrad. It's actually supposed to be really dark, meaningful and full of metaphors. Honestly, I did not understand what the author was trying to say AT ALL. I had heard my friends rave about it and they probably understood it, but it all just went past me. Three things I hated about this book were:
1. Boring narration
2. Way too much description of scenery-totally unnecessary
3. No characterization whatsoever
4. Lack of dialogues/good relationships between characters
If there is anyone who actually liked Heart of Darkness here, please explain me the point of that book.😊
