WHAT??? Why is religion brought into discussions of a talent show?? If that was the case, Zee should have asked the contestants to perform dances that belong to each one's region and religion only!! Why should they even let him to be in top 18 and make him remain until top six?? This kind of accusations will make people stop voting for Salman, even if they did so far without any other bias but based on his talent! When religion is brought into focus, the conveyed message is that he is good because of his religion, and then people from other religions will start to think why vote for him then and why not vote for someone from their own. Every time this factor is brought in, it will backfire and it will cost Salman - he will not get votes from people who are from other religions! Muslims are only 13% of the population in India, and Salman staying in the top so far and even being in #1 or #2 position for many weeks prove that people have been voting for him regardless of his region and religion. Please dont offend those supporters and make him lose their support!!
Without supporters from every kind, none of the celebrities from all regions and religions would have become what they are today. Even Remo and Terence belong to the minority group in India - they are only 2 or 3% of the total population!! One of the person I respect a lot is our own ex-President, Abdul Kalam. He is respected by almost everyone in India, and everyone look at him as a wonderful person and leader and no other factors are used to judge him. And remember, India is well known as a secular nation!
