1.yamini is telling chezian and others ...you people have done many great good things to this country..kept bomb...did criminal activities....killed many people...so you are given podhu mannippu...they get angry...chezian consoles them....she says you people should be killed..you are acting as if you have changed your minds and want to live peacefully...you are frauds....goes away....

Update for April 27

Arasi slaps Malar and she falls down. She keeps screaming that Arasi is responsible. Arasi asks her to listen to her. She says if Sezhiyan's death is known outside it will do more harm to them than anybody else and it will not resolve their problem. She says that she doesnt know what relationship Malar and Sezhiyan had but she can understand how much trust she had on him. Arasi says that she too feels like she has lost a brother and is not able to cry like Malar cos of her Khaki clothes and that she is crying inside. She says Sezhiyan was someone capable to lead the next generation and she wants Malar to take on the challenge of fulfilling his dreams and ideals.

Encouraging her to take on the responsibility she requests Malar not to tell anyone about his death as it would hamper their efforts to get general amnesty to the group. His group will erupt in anger and lead to violence in the jail and thus deny them amnesty. She says she will help them get them released on amnesty and then find out the truth about Sezhiyan's death. Malar is dazed. She goes round and comes beside Sezhiyan's body and weeps bitterly.

DGP on a couch in his house in deep thoughts. Yamuna comes and sees him and she goes away with cell phone in hand. She goes upstairs and calls the policeman who helped her in killing Sezhiyan. She asks him to inform the other terrorists about the death of Sezhiyan. She tells him to inform them without actually saying it in exact words. The police man says he will spread the rumour and then get them to know about the death. The next few scenes are those of Arasi, DGP, Yamuna, Sezhiyan's body and the terrorists in the forest days. The scenes are shown with some melancholic song played in the background.

Update for 28th April Tuesday

The policeman, Kaliyappan talks to the others in the jail and says that they must let the violence increase and asks them not to take action till he says and that he will answer any questions that will arise as a consequence. Most of them leave except two to whom he talks in mute and they leave saying they will do exactly as he said.

Two jailors are talking about sezhiyan and that he is dead. (they are talking so that someone hears them. they are the same jailors who got the instructions in mute). One of the terrorists hears this and screams that Thalaivar is killed and runs to tell his friends.The two jailors are happy their job is done

Some jailors are getting the rifles ready with bullets. One of them is saying they have e=never done like this before and another silences him saying we must just do what we are asked to and not ask questions.

Arasi and Malar are coming by car and the same time the terrorist is rushing towards his friends to tell them what he heard. the third scene is that of the jailors readying the rifles with bullets. Arasi is wondering if the terrorists will maintain calm as they dont know about Sezhiyan and Malar says they will be concerned but cant do much cos of strong police presence. The terrorist reaches his friends and tells them that their leader has been killed and it was not food poisoning.

The jailors are filling bullets in to the rifles and are talking about a superintendent who was burnt alive in a room by prsoners. Another comments that this time they are trying to create chaos and the others silence him.

Arasi is praised by Malar for making them patient and Arasi gives the credit to Sezhiyan who listened to her. Arasi fears that they will lose patience if they hear what happened to Sezhiyan. Malar says she will manage to pacify them. the terrorists are screaming and ask the jailors where sezhiyan is and that they want to see him. the jailors say only the IG can permit them to see. Slowly the crowd loses control. The jailors are still getting ready to encounter the terrorists by keeping teargas shells ready.

Arasi tells Malar to look cheerful as her friends will make out by looking at her face. Jailors are getting ready to serve food but the terorists are mad at the jailors and fight ensues. Kaliyappan is seeing this from behind and laughing.

Malar confesses to Arasi that she had fallen in love with Sezhiyan but they desisted from marrying cos of their involvement in the struggle. But they had thought of getting married in Arasi's presence once they got podhumannippu. She says now her happiness is destroyed with Sezhiyan's death and she doesnt even have tears left now. Arasi consoles her and says she must smile for the sake of others. Malar says she will manage and wants her friends to be released and at the same time wants to know who is responsible. Terrorists throw all the food. Police man Kaliyappan talking to Yamini that her plan has succeeded. She wants to instigate the terrorists further and make it worse before firing on them. She tells him to inform DGP only after firing and say that firing was done to safeguard the lives of policemen and other prisoners.

Update for 29th April Wednesday

Protest continues. Arasi asks Malar to do as she says. Muted dialogue. Two jailors talking to Kaliyappan. Kaliyappan tells them Madam has been informed, They want to be taken care of for doing the needful. Kaliyappan wants them to help worsen the situation by letting loose the criminal inmates of the jail.

The two jailors go to the enclosure where the criminals are kept and ask them to proceed for bathing. They refuse and they are told that they cant bathe later cos of some protests due to sezhiyan's apparent death. They are instigated by the jailors and the criminals are already unhappy about the podhumannippu for terrorists as they feel they dont deserve. They are instigated to attack the terrorists and the Jailors are happy their job is done.

Protest continues and they are demanding to see sezhiyan or to be taken to the hospital. The criminals come and pelt stones at the terrorists. They start fighting each other. The jailors keep coming to kaliyappan to inform him that it is worsening but he just sends them back without saying anything much. The terrorists are getting hit and are seen getting hurt. Kaliyappan asks the jailors to pretend as if they are trying to contain the protests. He calls Yamini to inform her about the situation and that what is left is to fire on the fighting crowds. Just when he has finished talking to Yamini, Arasi and Malar enter the prison premises and Kaliyappan salutes Arasi. Arasi wonders what the noise is about and Kaliyappan says they are talking. Arasi is not convinced and goes in to see.

She sees and asks him why there is no warden or police and why he dint call his seniors and inform them. Arasi calls DIG (Yamini's FIL) and tells him that there are protests in the prison and wonders what the Father-in-law- Daughter-in-law (DIG and IG) duo are doing when their superintendent is not taking any action. She turns to Kaliyappan and asks him what happened and he says someone spread the rumour that Sezhiyan is dead but refuses to say who started the rumour. Yamini's FIL calls Yamini and asks her if she knows what is happening in the prison. Yamini pretends she doesnt know and when told about the protest says Arasi has wrong information. DIG is angry at her and asks her to dismiss the superintendent as he didnot take adeqate action and yamini is reluctant to take action against the superintendent Kaliyappan.

Protest gets worse and Arasi rushes towards them with a gun in hand. Kaliyappan gets a call from DIG who reminds him that he is not paid to watch the protests but he must do something to bring the situation under control.
Arasi asks them to stop fighting and drop the stones. She warns them to peacefully disperse but no one's listening and she shoots in the air. The wardens come and she asks them to take away the criminals and moves towards the terrorists group with Malar.

Update for 30th April Thursday

The criminals are all herded away by the police and wardens. Arasi moves towards terrorists who ask her where Sezhiyan is and if he is dead. Arasi asks them who told them and they say they heard people say so. Malar assures them that Sezhiyan is alive and that she saw him. the others demand why they were not taken to see him and Arasi says there is no place for it in law and expecting a problem like this she took Malar alone so she can meet Sezhiyan and inform them he is fine. The terrorists ask why only Sezhiyan got food poisoning and none others were affected and Arasi manages the situation with some help from Malar who says she saw and spoke to Sezhiyan who wants them all to listen to her till he comes back and that he was concerned that if they resorted to violence they will be denied podhu mannippu. Malar says someone is deliberately inciting violence here and Sezhiyan wanted to convey that they must listen to Malar and the terrorists accept her as their leader. Arasi wants them to trust her and Malar and they agree and leave to get ready for the Podu mannippu. Malar weeps and Arasi asks her to control herself.

Press meet. Police, terrorists, Arasi, an official and politician (home minister), DIG and Yamini are there. DIG invites the gathering. He is talking and someone enters the room by the back door (i dont know who he is may be someone Yamini knows) The camera focuses on the guy and Yamini many times. The minister talks next and the official also talks. After them Arasi rises to speak. She starts of by saying that Sezhiyan is not there in their midst today and everyone is shocked and she continues that he is unwell and in hospital. She talks about Podhumannippu and says this will make the government proud. The new guy gets up and questions Arasi "if the government gets pride, what do we get?" Arasi is shocked.
