HIGHLIGHTS: DK on a drinking binge and Disha at the receiving end of DK's zabardast slaps.
DK and Disha are face to face in Mr. Malik's office. He introduces both of them to each other, DK says we know one another and then excuses himself from the office. Disha wants to go after him, but Mr. Malik stops her and tells her it is okay if she doesn't do her first assignment but in its place they have entrusted her with another important mission, which is very vital for the company and he warns her she should not do any mistakes this time. Her mind is not on what he is saying but she halfheartedly agrees to whatever he is saying and then rushes from there. DK is talking to Satya and Disha is looking out for him. She comes out of the building in search of him and is looking all around. Gargi's car is parked just in front of her but our madam missed seeing her. Gargi is thinking to herself, so this is where Disha is working. And to beat it all, Satya comes out looking for Disha and on spotting her holds her hand. Both are looking at each other for so long, one just feels like going and banging their heads. Gargi is delighted by the scene unfolding in front of her. She is thinking who is this chap holding Disha's hand as if it is his right to do so and then drives away. (Actually what she was doing there in the first place is beyond me, maybe just to witness this scene she was brought there). Disha comes out of her stupor and pulls her hand. She scolds Satya and tells him she does not like this habit of his of holding her hand at every opportunity. She tells I am a married woman and you must not behave in this manner with me. He tells sorry and then asks her but what were you doing running off like that. You are just not showing any responsibility towards your work. She tells sorry, but for now I have to go as DK has come to know that I work here. He tells no Disha, I cannot let you go. We have to discuss the planning and strategy for our work to be done on the New Year's Day. She goes with him.
Here DK is shown coming out of the gates and he looks dejected. Johnny is waiting for him. When DK does not look at him, he thinks that DK has not got the job here also. DK goes and sits in the cab. Johnny keeps chatting with him and tells him fikar not if you were not lucky this time, next time you will surely be lucky. DK gets irritated and tells him to shut up. Poor Johnny, aadat se majboor, continues with his bak bak. DK asks him to stop the cab midway. He rushes out of the cab. Johnny follows him and asks him where are you going DK sir? DK just does not answer. Johnny again asks him but what will I tell sister Disha? DK thunders at him and tells him, "tell her DK Sehgal bhaad mein gaya" and walks off from there.
Gargi is forcing Vedant to get the divorce papers ready. She is telling him before that girl comes here, I want you to give her the papers. Ved does not tell anything.
Here in Vasudha's office, she is talking with a man who has come to invite her for a New Year's party. He is telling her all the who's who of this city are being invited for this party and you also must come. While telling the names of the bigwigs, he also tells Gargi Sehgal's name. Vasudha tells if that woman is coming, count me out. He tells but she is one of our most VIP guests, in fact she had donated a large amount to our foundation last year. Vasudha pulls out her check book and signs a blank check and gives it to him. She tells you fill any amount in this. He smiles and then tears off the card which had Gargi's name on it.
Disha and Satya are discussing the details of their project. The manager (the one who does not like Disha) comes there with a file. Satya asks him what is it, can't you see I am busy. He tells I have shortlisted some names, I want your approval sign on it. Satya gets bugged. He gets up from there, pulls the file from his hand and without reading it signs it off. The manager straight away goes to Mr. Malik's office and tells him, I am sorry to buzz in like this, but Junior's attention is not on his work nowadays. He is spending more time and attention on a married lady. Just now I took a file to him for his approval, and without going thru it, he signed it. He was not like this before, but after the arrival of Disha his mind is not on his work. Malik thanks him for his concern and tells him he will talk it out with Satya.
DK is sitting in a bar and is thinking about Disha and how she had lied to him about that letter. He then says, today I am going to drink to the point of no return. He calls the boy for his first drink.
Disha comes home. She asks Jharna if DK has come home. She tells all have come, maybe even DK bhai has come, (poor thing, members are increasing in her household day by day, she cannot keep count who has come and who has not). Disha then enters one of the rooms and she stops. Rano is there sitting on a bed. Disha is so happy on seeing her. She runs to her and hugs her.
DK is gloriously boozing away. A man who is sitting at a nearby table comes there and introduces himself as Ali. He tells him he would like to offer a drink to DK. DK asks him who are you to offer me a drink. I don't even know who you are. And then calls the boy for another drink. Ali just looks at the boy and winks. The bar boy comes there and tells DK pay the amount of your previous drinks and then only you will get another drink. DK gets angry and then starts searching for the money, which is not there. Ali then removes a wad of notes and gives it to the boy and shouts at him, don't you know to whom you are talking. He is Mr. DK Sehgal. Now go and get a drink for him. DK looks at him and then accepts his hand and both shake hands. Ali offers DK a 50% partnership with him in his business. DK accepts it.
Disha is waiting for DK to come. It is past midnight. DK comes home stumbling and falling. Disha takes him inside and tells him why do you drink so much. You lose control when you drink like this. She is holding on to him all the time. DK pulls out of her grip and then raises his hand and slaps her not once but twice. Disha falls on the bed. DK also falls on the bed next to her and is out to this world. Disha gets up and cries and the song "Man se man ka kya rishta hai" is being played.
TOMMOROW: A big black car has come to take DK. Ali is sitting in the front. DK sits like a big shot. Johnny is watching openmouthed.
