ok, cant ask this question from guys.. because we are not that sensitive as you girls are, specially when it's about gahana's emotions. Forget social responsibilities for a while.Keep yourself at gahana"s place and tell me honestly " how many of you would have fallen in love or would have had at least emotional attachment with a guy like niranjan ? Who is first of all is cute looking and of your age. soft spoken, knows what all women are facing in our society, you and niranjan are share the same passion that's music. Specially when u are married with a guy who is double of your age ?

I think its easy to talk about society and its rules which are always for men, given by men. In these circumstances, if you start liking a guy(i am referring niranjan again and again because of his character and gesture as of now) like niranjan, what's so bad about it? Its not important that it should end up on physical intimacy. Can't there be an emotional attachment? you want to believe what niranjan says because may be you think that" you and niranjan, both think exactly the same way. You want to blindly trust him.

( may be even niranjan ll start liking her,but because of his up bringing and responsibilities towards society and its values, he ll stop himself)Then it ll be Niranjan's responsibility to handle the situation in a very mature way and without taking advantage of her emotional weakness, help her to understand her family and husband better and save her married life and social values. Hmm, I certainly hope the Gehna Niranjan track can show that friendship can exist between a man and woman, and women dont need to be locked up in their houses with no contact with men other than their husbands..

though i understand gehna's problem even i hope niranjan and gehna dont get into a romantic relationship. its not neccessary that a girl would get attracted to any boy her age. getting into a romantic involvement with niranjan would be too kkektaish.

I would also agree...that gehna shouldnt fall in love with some body else... friendship is okay...but romentic relation??? i think its not necessary...

one thing is proven here, what ever is happening in our society by chance or forcefully is happily accepted specially by indian girls. what an example i was given as far as age difference is concerned 👏 👏 👏( saif & kareena) two mature people who are in a relation by CHOICE and they both have enough link ups and relation ships in between.

My thought is gehna and niranjan will fall in love gradually. They have more connection. Basanth is only nice to her right now because she is pregnant. Where was the love and concern when doctor's told her to abort the baby. I see nothing wrong in the relationship between G and N. It shows that forced relationships can not last if mutual understanding is not there.

Even I agree to the fact that Basant and Gehna's relationship does have some scope
It would be totally wrong on her part if she falls for Niranjan

But yes they can definitely be friends
as Niranjan will understand her being of her age

but falling for Niranjan means complete sense of irresponsibility

She has a responsibility towards her child as well
though she might say that she is giving birth to the child only because she wants to repay her family's loan
but it is obvious that she feels for the child
and will never be able to stay without it

And coming to Basant,
he had reacted to the abortion situation only because he wanted his mother to be happy and yes he may be taking care of Gehna only because of the child

But now he is feeling for her too which was obvious from the fact that he did numerous things for her like
taking care of her meals,
taking her to a Doctor inspite of Dadisa's denial,
sleeping on the floor just for her comfort,
even arranging for her music lessons,
and above all supporting her in the quarrel between Dadisa and Gehna

And even Gehna is respecting Basant by taking care of his needs and convincing him to take the lunch box (which even Dadisa, Jamuna or Sumitra couldn't do)
This proves a strong relationship being bulit between then

Yes I know it is difficult to adjust with a husband double your age
but then, nobody leads one's life perfectly,
every one makes adjustments
and Gehna is no exception

If not here
she would have been married to some guy of her age whose family would have pestered her parents for dowry which would have been worse

Adjusting is the way of life and one cannot always take easier routes
I strongly think Gehna and Basant should resume their attempts to make their relationship a success....
