For the honest people who want to complain judges were biased on giving Baichung more marks then Karan on salsa, lets look at videos side by side! 😊
To begin I love Karan and I love Baichung! At times I am really biased toward Baichung but I openly admit it when I am biased!
Everyone seems to be bashing the judges these days.
1. People for one they are asked to be harsh with the contestants. I think they are specially harsh when it comes to Karan because the more Karan suffers the more votes come in. The more votes come in the more money show and channel makes. Baichung is popular but never underestimate the power of fangirls. Baichung might have a huge fanbase but compared to Karan mania it is nothing. 1 Karan fan = 5 Baichung fan. It's pure madness and blindness. No offense to anyone..I am a crazy fan and I do the same thing! 😆
2. When a contestant performs they don't just compare the performance to others but also the contestant's last performance. Let's look at Baichung, the guy started out stiff as a stick and no expressions at all. Those are serious flaws. He has been trying his best and he has been improving. If you can't see it maybe you are too busy favoring your favorite. Baichung's performances are very entertaining, your opinion might differ but it's strictly your opinion with no right or wrong. On the other hand I have loved every single one of Karan's performances. They were much better than Baichung's when compared side to side, BUT let's look at Karan's flaws. Nothing serious like Baichung, yes he was also not a good dancer, neither is he now. He really listens to the judges and works really hard but the difference between Karan's last performance to the current one is minimal to nothing. And I am so serious about this I say this from a total unbiased perspective, I totally love the guy and It's sad to see the judges, specially Saroj ji being harsh with him. Baichung's improvement is SERIOUS! The way he involved himself with pehli nazar. Then the energy he put in I am disco dancer is shocking! Compare dance pe chance marle to disco dancer and the improvement hits you on the face, it's that obvious. karan on the other hand has done nothing wrong, but he hasn't as a dancer done anything to blow people away! Comparing himself to his last doesn't get him a 10, and neither does comparing him to others get him a 10 as Javed's and Nishant's choreography make decent dancers like Monica and Shilpa shine like diamonds!
As for lip sync, I think different songs require different things. I can't remember if it was the same round when judges asked Karan about lip sync, I don't think it was. I thought it was ok to minus the lip sync as the dance they did usually doesn't require lipsyncing, not to mention they were blindfolded. It was more than enough to just dance without tripping.
Karan is already on a pedestal, all his fans have put him there, where do you go from a pedestal? As any type of guru you want to see the person go up slowly, that's what makes you proud. Baichung is slowly climbing up. With Karan's solid fanbase he is not really climbing the way everyone expects him to, and thus a lot of times he comes out as a dissapointment to judges!
I think Nicole is a good choreographer but she doesn't really give any moves to Karan that is going to leave everyone with open mouth.The ones who always have open mouth don't count, sorry!! Baichung started out so bad, anything he does that is decent makes everyone happy.
