Do you think the public is biased?

Answer this honestly.

of course they are! Regional voting makes all the difference in the results!
So if you're a a person looking to participate in a reality show with public voting you better relocate yourself before the show to ensure your victory :D

They are biased in so many ways its unbelievable. I agree with you on the relocating thing. I felt bad for Rakhee, she was deserving but still got out just cuz of her location.

@desicrowd-I dont think that is what I meant when I said biased. I meant like all the girls getting out first and having to leave in India to get votes.

I do agree that Sunita doesn't deserve to be at the top, I think that Bhavna and Vrushali didnt deserve to leave at all. I was very hurt.

In all honesty, Rakhee was definitely the weakest out of the top 18 let alone top 12 so she's very lucky to have gotten so far in the 1st place. Secondly, people don't really have an incentive to vote for her. People vote when they like your performance and when they can connect to you as an inidividual. Rakhee was born and brought up in the UK and the average Indian may not be able to connect to her in any such way.😕it's just my opinion but it was a slight disadvantage that she couldn't speak hindi either even though I completely understood her toota punjabi😆that's why if there's ever a contestant from south, they rarely ever get votes from their region due to language difference which is why paulson and rakhee were at a disadvantage to begin with. Indian audiences usually don't like international contestants which is why they're usually out earlier on in the show. The only exception I know is SRGMP but the contestants were getting loads of votes from their respected countries too so that played a key role.
But I will agree that vrushali's elimination is the worst thing that's happened in this show.😭

I agree that I don't like regional voting. But sometimes...I feel people take it out on the contestants...like say that their performances are weak, and they don't deserve it, etc. I agree Sunita doesn't deserve top, but she does deserve to be in the competition! And I think it's not her fault this time. I really don't know what Geeta was thinking this week. She was all "I didn't like the performance." when SHE was the one who choreographed it.

OK, let's see:
1. The people who got eliminated so far are Rakhee (female), Bhavna (female) and Vrushali (female)...and Bhavna and Vrushali are among the best dancers.
2. Sunita, after her stunt performance on Friday (where she was clearly ill at ease and was only balancing rather than dancing, in the beginning) and the duet with Siddesh (where the few mistakes pointed out were basically Sunita's...no offence to her fans) got the highest votes (she's the onle contender from the eastern zone).
3. After spectacular dances last week, Mayuresh, Alisha and Vrushali come in the bottom 3.
Isn't that enough proof? Indian public is OUT AND OUT biased in their voting...both gender-wise AND region-wise. This is SO disgusting!

If the public had no biases, nobody would ever win, because there would be no choices, no selection - and thus no winner.

So, there will never be a perfect world where there are no biases and no choices made in favour of someone.

Sometimes it hurts, sometimes it hurts the deserving people, sometimes it doesn't always make sense, but it's the rule of the jungle, the name of the game.
