Sorry, that was OT...but yeah, like I said, I agree with your entire post AHFan. It's not like his performances were weak compared to others (he was always atleast better than Tanmay)...they just got weak compared to his past performances and the judges started to expect a lot from him....kinda like what happened to Smita, I suppose. Not her fan though.

I don't think there were many who were better than Amir. Rohit was, yes. I loved Vibhore too, but I dont think he was better than Amir, maybe on the same level. Vaishali, Vasu, Smita...all kinda deserved to leave before Amir. Heck, even Tanmay or Rohan should've gone before him.
But that's just what I feel. Please don't quote me to say I disagree, I don't wanna debate.

see, i don't buy your first paragraph. agreeing to air the gareebi wala av and harping about missing one's parents are the "stunts" amir used. mano ya na mano....they were stunts yaar😉

Ha...you're funny. :P You know if someone disagrees, noone has the will power to stay back, that's why I asked...cuz I knew people would disagree, obvs! But yeah, I still can't get into debates mostly because I got a midterm to study for and I've been slacking off! lol...but yeah, to each their own I suppose. I find what he did was something a 10year old could easily do...cry because of the possibility of getting eliminated and just say things to whoever shows their love. I guess same could be said about what Anamika did...like, something that a lil kid could do...so maybe Anamika could be off the hook as well, although she couldve quit backstage instead of dramatically breaking down infront of everyone..but the rest, nah. What they did was a clear way to attract people. Amir telling Sonu didnt have to mean the public knowing if Sonu hadn't said anything.

I should...go back to my books before I fail the midterm, heh.

the point i was trying to make was what's good for the goose shd be good for the gander too. can't be labelling what other kids did as stunts and defending amir's stunts as something zee did...not amir.

Well that is so not true. Any kid of that age will miss his parents for the fact that all his friends have their parents to support them. And if we see his humgama episodes he never showed anyone that he was gareeb and always said that his every wish is fulfilled by his parents, so never did i see him cribbing about his gareebi and getting sympathy votes....... Also by far i can say that all his fans who voted for him loved his singing and it had nothing to do with his gareebi..... I even remember him crying so much for his friend Vibhore when he was voted out and poor kid didnt even shed a single tear when it came to him. Also when Tanmay's name was declared as a 3rd finalist unlike other kids he patted Tanmays back and was happy for him. he came all running after him and was cheering him... This shows honestly and innocence.

I really wish that this kid learns all the stunts you are talking about to face this real world as his honest nature didnt take him far.........😭

Anyways, it should pay him in the long run i believe.

And as far as Aamirs AV is concerned, it was Zee which uses all these stunts for TRPs and thats what they are supposed to do.....Dont they want their show to be on top charts. After all they are giving a platform and roti for these people.....this is the least they do to get some returns...😉

personally, I like this variation of the song. Aamir gave it his own style. apne rang mein gaa kar dekhaya. May God bless this bundle of talent with many opportunities in life. He will go very far.
