Welcome To The Jungle: Akshay Kumar welcomes Disha Patani but misses Katrina Kaif like the rest of us

Welcome To The Jungle or Welcome3 was supposed to come in theatres in December 2025. It was going to be a big X’Mas release. Well, that is not happening. However, what fans can be sure of is that Akshay Kumar and Disha Patani are make for a combustible combination on screen. Yes, they have made a small teaser on the iconic track Ek Uncha Lamba Kad, and boy they look great together. However, the two also miss Katrina Kaif like the rest of us. Akshay and Disha remembered her in the sweetest way possible as they shared the video. In the clip, Akshay Kumar in a hat and black shirt looking a lot similar to Shah Rukh Khan from Pathaan’s Besharam Rang in terms of styling. Disha Patani looks resplendent in a maroon red skirt and top.

The first Welcome movie came out in 2007 where Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif were the lead pair. It had some memorable songs including this track. Anees Bazmee had captured the beauty and glamour quotient of Katrina Kaif to perfection. Welcome Back in 2015 had John Abraham and Shruti Haasan in lead roles. The third movie of the franchise is going to be directed by Ahmed Khan who has a long association with producer Firoz A Nadiadwala.

Disha Patani has been part of Akshay Kumar’s concert tours abroad. The actress was last seen in the project Kanguva with Suriya. This is the first time they are paired with one another. Jacqueline Fernandez is also in Welcome 3. Paresh Rawal said that Welcome 3 will release in the first half of 2026. This X’Mas we will have Agastya Nanda and Kartik Aaryan clashing at the box office.
