Happy Mahavir Jayanti

Mahavir Jayanti is an important religious holiday of Jain religion. It is a day when Lord Mahavira, the last tirthankara was born. In the morning the Lord Mahavira idol is bathed which is called ' abhishek' . Big processions with Lord Mahavira on chariot is taken out in the neighbor hood.
