Rate the performances - April 4/09

Sorry m a little late in opening this topic but since nobody has opened it yet, let me start by talking about the performances today 😃

Overall, today's show was probably the BEST gala episode so far, I completely enjoyed every single bit of it, probably MAINLY because of the different song selection. It was so refreshing to see such new dance forms being performed on old songs. More than the performances, I especially liked the little clips here and there of the original songs, of Saroj Khan's and Jhitendra's comments, of the rehearsals of the contestants. Moreover, EVERYONE performed brilliantly. I'm giving a 10 to all the performances, as they were all good in their own way!! 👏👏

Alisha & Mayuresh (10) - I loved their costumes, their steps, and their chemistry. Coordination was missing, but I can forgive that. Alisha was looking really good and it was sad to see her cry after such a good performance. I was expecting a little more support from Terence, he shouldn't be that strict with her. The idea of making fake shoes was so creative, I did not notice until remo pointed it out 😆

Jai & Vrushali (10) - Did i mention I was looking forward to see Jai with Alisha today? they r my favourite couple but nonetheless, Jai did a wonderful job with vrushali as well. The song selection, again, was really good and I loved their performance. It was a complete performance! didn't notice any flaw 👏👏

I also liked the little act by mithunda of copying the mentors and mentors copying mithunda 🤣 HILLARIOUS!! I was laughing so hard, especially when Terence said "main kya kahu, I'm speechless" and when Mithun said "Beta!" (geeta style) 😆😛 These things create so much positivity on the show, and would love to see more of this funny drama than what happened yesterday!

Prince & Khushboo (10) - I was actually looking forward to see their performance as I was curious how they would dance as a couple, and they did a wonderful job. I'm not a fan of Prince but it was nice to see him try something different. Loved it when khushboo picked him up 😆 now it would've been even funnier if Prince had lifted Khushboo. lol 😆

Siddhesh & Sunita (10) - WOW!! one word that comes into my mind whenever i see their performance iS ART. I had NEVER seen this type of dance before so it was something TOTALLY new for me, and I must say that Siddhesh & Sunita got a well deserved best performance of the day award! 👏 Honestly, dancing with that heavy costume is just wow. They were doing small small things with so much grace, clarity and precision.

Bhavna & Salman (10) - AMAZING performance. Although a little more smoothness in transitions would've made the whole act look just perfect, there were still many "WOW" moments in between. Bhavna is becoming one of my favourite now. I had my mouth open when she lifted Salman and during all the lifts and also towards the end. A really good performance once again!

Terence's jhitendra style dance was, I would say, the highlight of the show!! 👏👏👏 He was looking so cute and it was so nice of him to come up on stage on remo's request. Honestly, he raises himself in my eyes with every episode. Keep up the good work Terence!

Mangesh (10) - Again, he is not one of my favourites but I have to admit he gave a really good performance today. usually, I have seen that on fast songs like dil na diya, people don't do it as fast as required by the beat and it doesn't look that good but I loved mangesh's energy until the end. His little stunt, in the beginning, I would say, was too dangerous and he should avoid doing that!

So, after watching all the performances this week, I think Prince or Khushboo should go (considering today's and yesterday's performances)

Jay and Vrushali-10(lol I was looking forward to Vrushali and Mayuresh..but anyway) I loved loved loved the songggg!! The tango was gr8, especially the legwork, and Vrushali was awesome at that. And Jay is the king of expressions, and his dancing was superb too.

Prince and Khushboo-9.5 Now I'm not a fan of these two either, but their performace was sooo cute! I'm looking forward to seeing this couple do a romantic song! But yes it was nice seeing Prince doing something different, and both did Affro jazz very nicely. I wish that Prince had lifted Khusbhoo instead of the other way around tho...but I liked theirs.

Siddesh and Sunita-10 I love this couple and their dancing rocked again. Like Geeta said Kathakaliis a beautiful artform, and plus all that heavy costume as well, specially for Siddesh. I pretty much have no words for this performance....it was truly just wow...like you said.

Salman and Bhavna-10 Their performance was great! Usually I see Salman doing more stunts then dance but this time he was great! And my favorite part was the cartwheel at the end....that was awesome!

Mangesh-10 I loved the new hairstyle too! He was very energetic, and his versatality is one thing that i like about him. Superb performance, and the stunt at the beginning was a gr8 start to his dance.

ps. i like couple dances better than solos for some reason in this show

Salman & Bhavna-10 : luvd der performance it was gr8, da lifts were amazing da chemistry was gud n dey lukd lyk dey were really enjoying demselves sure transitions cudve been smoother but who cares der performance was wicked

Mayuresh & Alisha- 9: i lykd da performace da song n dance style was different, yeah der was co-ordination issues but mayuresh was really gud in da performance

Jai & Vrushali- 9: argentine tango i dun lyk da dance form dat much coz ders so much foot work/kicks in between d legs lols, but da choreo n song choice was good overall both were good in da song, da acting made me laff tho

Prince & Khushboo- 9: altho i dun lyk afro jazz much, wen i watched der performance online i didnt enjoy it but watching it on telly made all da difference, i enjoyed da act it was cute

Mangesh- 8; da 1st flip, bad landing, gud energy tho but even tho da song is really fast i felt da moves were too fast n'll

Siddhesh & Sunita-8: i dun kathakali much, its more acting/expressions den dance, gud effort by both, but iv seen kathakali on a latest bollywood song so da concept/idea doesnt impress me much

Terence- 10+++++- terence was looking n acting so cute, i wudnt have thought he'd b a jeetu fan, dat was surprising, he danced really well with bhavna, lols da bits wen dey bump into each other n he spins her around with to much force n da floor bit was funny lols

also i luv group performances a lot, yeah solos r gud, but trios/duo's n group performances r much b8r
