Amitabh Bachchan plays Abhishek's reel life son in Paa
After making the refreshing older man-younger woman love story Cheeni Kum, director R Balakrishnan (better known as Balki) is once again all geared up to offer something new in his forthcoming film, Paa. Balki has made Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan reverse their roles in Paa. Yes, this time it is Abhishek who plays Amitabh's father in the film.
A source from the industry says, "Interestingly, Abhishek plays Amitabh's father in Paa. Amitabh is playing a man who ages really fast and as a result looks far older than his actual age. To do justice to the role, a special make-up artist is responsible for Amitabh's look in the film. It takes over three hours to put on Amitabh's make-up and over an hour to remove it."
Balki, who is currently shooting for Paa in Malaysia, neither confirmed nor denied the story. He said that he would let us know more on the subject later.
