Good girls always end up crying. And there are a zillion TV shows to prove that right. Begging their husbands, getting subdued by their saas, suffering to the core, these sati savitri gharelu Indian bahus are definitely alien to the concept of women's lib! And there might be a million actresses dying to grab such a role.

But not all! There are a handful of spunky women who've always loved to have a mean streak. A 'why cry when you can make others do that job?' attitude has caught on fast with these girls who like to play it naughty. We've a list of 10 such BAD girls. Check 'em out!

Achint Kaur

Alias: Mandira in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi on Star Plus

HOT Factor: Sexy attire and a figure to die for (that too for ages now).

Mean Quotient: Six. She is mean alright. But needs to have that cutting edge that such characters call for.

Roshni Chopra

Alias: Piya in Kasamh Se on Zee TV

HOT Factor: Do we really have to spell it out? Well, here it goes S-K-I-M-P-Y clothes, P-O-U-T and a zillion other things that men see in her.

Mean Quotient: FOUR. She is firstly trying too hard to act. On top of that, trying to play a negative role, we understand, it can be quite tough

Suvarna Jha

Alias: Trupti in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi on Star Plus

HOT Factor: The ability to look different and sexy in the same bahu attire that others wear. And her taut body! And her infamous kiss with Dino Morea for the movie Ssshhh.

Mean Quotient: Eight. Oh she is quite mean. But well, could be better!

Kamya Punjabi

ALIAS : Sindhura in Banoo Main Teri Dulhann on Zee TV

HOT Factor : Her big bindi and tough attractive looks. And we are not even getting started about the well toned worked out body of hers.

Mean Quotient: A straight 10. Her looks can make fire freeze on a hot summer's day! I mean c'mon, a tough body like that was not made to make theplas on screen and neither were those simmering eyes made to cry over husband's illicit affairs!

Ashwini Kalsekar

Alias: Jigyaasaa in Kasamh Se on Zee TV

HOT Factor: Her flawless dusky complexion. And darker eyes.

Mean Quotient: TEN. Right from the days of the first TV soap Shanti, Ashwini has played each and every negative character with elan. Her presence on screen is half the job done actually!

Tasneem Sheikh

Alias: Mohini in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi on Star Plus

HOT Factor: Sexy blouses with her sarees and big bindis.

Mean Quotient: Nine. This girl probably thrives on negativity. She is perfect with her mean remarks and facial expressions and plays the BAD girl brilliantly well.

Jasveer Kaur

Alias: Kajri Bai (also Pavitra) in Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyaan on Zee TV

HOT Factor: Lissome and sultry looks. Long legs. And an attractive mouth.

Mean Quotient: Seven. After dancing and playing cameos in many films, Jasveer's TV career has taken off quite well. It's partly because of her ability to play the BAD girl to the 'T'.

Sanjeeda Sheikh

Alias: Ayesha in Kayamath on Star Plus

HOT Factor: Pretty little face. Thin and shapely body. Dancing capabilities.

Mean Quotient: Ten. She looks little and fragile but her impersonation of the BAD girl might make you think otherwise. This dancing girl of Nach Baliye fame has taken negative roles to a new height.

Urvashi Dholakia aka Komolikaa

She definitely deserves to be in our Hall Of Fame section. Her character in Kasauti Zindagi Kay on Star Plus, Komolikaa, has stuck with us for years now (even after the serial is off air).

Sexy blouses and changing hairstyle

What made Komolikaa interesting was her style of sarees which changed every season with her hairstyle and colour. Starting with the long swinging braid down her back to the small crop in shades of blonde, this babe kept the character alive and fresh throughout the years of painfully stretched episodes.

Sudha Chandran aka Ramola Sikand

Absolute mother of meanness, Sudha Chandran is the trend starter for the new age TV vamps. The mere name of Ramola Sikand weaves a web of all things - bad and evil - around us. That was what her powerful acting in Kahin Kisii Roz on Star Plus did to the audience.

Designer bindis and thick neck pieces

What made the character memorable in the serial (long after the serial went off air) was the characteristic style of dressing that Sudha Chandran carried off so well. The plot was exciting but what made it irresistable was Ramola Sikand. And that is why even today when we may have forgotten the serial or the characters, we all remember her so well!

Wow! So Glad to see Sanjeeda's name there! Very happy to know that her portrayal of a negative role, made it to this list. She sure is one of the most gifted and versatile actresses we have today! Who tried all shades of roles in a a short span. The best part is, she got 10 out of 10, cool! full scores! Sanjeeda, Kamya and Ashwini are the only 3 who got 10. Thats quite an achievement for Sanjeeda to get equal of them because those two are veterans in this field now. I am glad, she did complete justice to the role she was assigned to play. Agree with the reporter, her pretty face, shapely figure, to her dancing capabilites, all adds up to the overall package.

Thanks for sharing the article!
