Priya Bhatija, who plays Ganga in Kasamh Se (Mon-Thurs at 9.30 on Zee), is yet to reconcile herself with the fact that the show, which she has been a part of since 2008, is ending this week, and that today (Tuesday) is the last of day of shooting.
PRIYA, who was shooting for the last sequence in the show, says, "We did not get any kind of notice from the production house. Last week, we heard that Tuesday is the last day of shooting. It was really unexpected. I have been working with Balaji for three years now and have not done work with any other producer. I still miss my first show Khwaish and am going to miss this show too."
"I am going to miss the routine – coming on the sets and meeting Ram (Kapoor) and Vishal (Singh). We bonded so well. Ram is so nice. He would talk to me whenever I got to work. Vishal and I used to laugh a lot. We would improvise scenes, make up our own lines. I shared a very close relation with them."
About the last episode, the actress reveals that her character will resolve differences with Rishi. "It will be a Holi sequence, and Ganga and Rishi will solve all their differences. After the shoot is over, the entire cast and crew will play Holi."
While she is upset, Priya is happy with the recognition the show brought her. "My character was very popular and it made me quite popular. What more can I ask for?"
So what is next for her? "I think I will take a small break. Hopefully it will be short. As for now, we are preparing for the Kasamh Se party. After that, Jatin and I plan on getting married. But the date is not confirmed as yet."
Kasamh Se's last episode will air on March 13. It is the first Balaji show to be taken off the air this year.
