I took the GMATs and LSATs back to back.. and those are not easy.. 🤔.. i did a lil above average.. but now a days.. schools want very high grades.. especially with everyone and their mother who's laid off are trying to get back into schoool..very competitive.. I think these enterence exams are pretty usefull.. i probably learned more usefull math studying for the GMATs than i did after taking three calc classes in college..

SATs are nothing compared to these exams.. 😆😆.. I wish you luck.. hope you get into the college of your choice..😉

My brothers studying for th MCATs.. and he does not get out of his room.. you have to really dedicate yourself when studying for these enterence exams.. whether you like it or not .. THEY MATTTER..!!

Dont even get me started on the BAR exam and post med school exams.. i think the USMLE's to get your residency.. (i could be wrong on that)..

I have to agree that SATs are a joke compared to these entrance exams for professional schools.

The MCATs is definitely no joke. I've seen it get the best of the best! I see many pre-meds take the Kaplan/Princeton prep courses for it which cost around $2000. These entrance exams really are a big factor if you plan to go to professional school. Most schools base acceptance on GPA and entrance exam (the two main factors), extra-circulars/work experience, and the personal statement.

Some of my friends couldn't get into a med school in they U.S. and so they opted to go Carribbean med schools (which now is getting more competitive)....all of med students are freaking out about USMLEs....its supposed pretty tough.

I'm quite lucky I got acceped into a pharmacy school that didn't require an entrance exam (PCATs), but because I didn't take the exam, I limited my chances of getting into pharmacy school since most schools require the exam.

Take home point, get used to take exams especially entrance exams because they do make a big difference no matter what field you decide to pursue.

Bar exam.. = studying like no tomorrow!

My sister is studying for the MCATS...i just walk by her and pat her on the back and say, good luck on your journey....

Then i ask, Do you need any help...Then she shows me this complex question..and i just run away...😲

Ah the nerdiness on an Indian forum. So many different tests. So many tensions. One of my goals before I die is to take all standardized tests for the kicks of it.

Indians and nerdiness is synonymous with each other😆

I think I'd rather stick needles in my eyes then take all those ~6 hour exams but I hope you get the chance to take them all👍🏼
