LOL honestly I dont see the vey "important" reason for SATs to count more than ur GPA or high school transcript when ure entering colleges in the USA.

LOL lets not mention my SAT scores 😆😆😆 but yea lol like the English section that they give you on the SATs.................U'LL NEVER EVER TAKE THEM IN YOUR ENTIRE PRE-K-12TH GRADE STUDENT LIFE!! plus they also ask u gramatical questions n stuff..THE ENGLISH NO ONE IN THE USA REALLY USES!

I dont see the point....I think they should take you depending more on ur major that u wanna do in college...for example My plan is to major in Advertising and then minor in either film making, acting, or graphic designer...HOW THE HELL IS BIOLOGY,,,,ALGEBRA...TRIGONOMETRY...CHEMISTRY involved in all this?!😆 lol they should look @ more classes like Drama workshop, Media Studies and Psychology and Sociology for my Major instead of looking @ my Math, science grades hehehehe😆😆

wat u say? lol

Usually an entrance exam is an equalizer and/or to really assess if your GPA matches your knowledge. Heard of grade inflation?

Well, I agree, all these tests are overrated, and by no means are an actual measure of intelligence. Having said that, you should by all means take it seriously, because all colleges really focus on the scores during the admissions process. My guess is that you've most likely applied everywhere you needed to and are waiting to hear back, so no worries now, see what happens.

G'luck, hope you get in where you want to. 😊 And if it makes you feel any better, Harvard rejected me, I still laugh at myself for applying. But at least 10 years down the road I won't have regrets about giving Ivy League a chance. 😆

Now, regarding your major and all, it does not matter what your major is. You are still required to take core classes in college as well. So if you think biology-chemistry-english-calculus are going anywhere, unfortunately they're not.

Even psych classes require a lot of math classes. Advertising, film making, not so much, I'm guessing. But is there an actual "film-making" major? Boy, you have a long list there -- you just named about 50 different majors --- which are you leaning towards?

P.S. If I'm not mistaken, weren't you the one that made that thread on cheating during the SAT or something a while back? 😆

Thank you. You said it, so i dont have to.😊

But it's also about perfect everything else, if one's aiming high. The competition is that intense😊

Yeah, it's important to know when to hold 'em and when to fold 'em.😛 You should have walked out feeling lucky after the results first time.😊 Maybe fourth time around would have been the lucky charm, but it's too late for that i guess.😊

See it dont matter that Math and other trivia might not be immediately useful in film-making. Other students wanting to do the same course are also taking the test, so you are competing with them, not the general SAT population.

It's same as buying a nail-cutter that can also chop vegetable and that can be used to mix cocktails. All else equal, admissions officers want more features whether they're useful or not.😆

What did you do differently each time you took the exam? Did you change your study habits or focus more/less on certain areas? If you study the same way you did the first time, you won't improve....LOL, I know that firsthand😆
