I see why the judges are doing some of the things they are doing. They are trying to keep the contestants who might otherwise get thrown out after the very first show...Let's face it...the actors and actresses are the ones who get most face time with the audience and hence are more popular. So even if they get lower marks, they will stay in the game. But Mohinder Amarnath, Baichung, the Magician guy and Anand (the composer) have niche markets and targeted fan groups. So they might get chucked out first, unfortunately.I agree with what you are saying.. but then that's not fair to the tellywood stars who worked their butts off (just like everyone else) for the show and just to get the marks that they dont deserve!! some of their reasons didn't even make sense.. however.. now with the marks soo low there is a good chance that the bottom two will be tellywood stars.. and all because to give those who dont get votes a chance!??personally.. i am an huge fan of Parul and if she leaves i wont be watching JDJ anymore!!
All four of them were average (mohinder was slightly better, Anand, Magician guy and Baichung in that order) - amongst the actors, again the talent varied. If you weigh the effort, facial expressions, energy and talent weighed altogether, the results are pretty close to what the judges ranked.
sorry not to bring her up again! but if we basing this on dancing and facial expression and energy.. then i know for a fact that Parul deserved A WHOLE lots more than 20 marks! when she danced she looked like a professional! but her reasons for low marks was cuz her choreography wasn't good! what was wrong with it? It was out dated and rontine!! well which of the acts was orginal?? I think that they did a fantastic job and with full energy the song needed and required! hope the marking gets better!!! cuz right now i am not totally satified with the judging!!
