Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Geetanjali walks into Abhira-Armaan’s room while he assigns her the guest room

In tonight's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode, Abhira expresses guilt to Maira for frequently shifting her from one home to another. However, Maira, with her innocent maturity, reassures her that she can stay anywhere as long as Armaan and Geetanjali are with her. As the two reach the Goenka mansion, Abhir warmly welcomes them with a song. Maira immediately asks to watch cartoons, recalling that there wasn't a TV in the previous house. She eagerly settles in front of the screen.

Meanwhile, Abhir encourages Abhira to stop living in the past and assures her that he intends to make up for his past mistakes. Abhira responds with warmth, beginning to rebuild her bond with him, though she still worries she may not be able to meet all of Maira's emotional needs.

Meanwhile, Geetanjali reveals that she came to the Poddar house with the intention of taking Armaan back with her, which is why she did not bring any clothes. Armaan assures her that he will arrange to have her clothes sent over. When she wonders where she should stay in such a large house, he directs her to the guest room, informing her that it has already been prepared for her.

She then inquires about his room, explaining that it would be helpful to know in case she needs anything. Armaan says that he will rarely go to his room and will usually be in the study. He adds that she is not dependent solely on him for help, as she can approach other family members like Sanjay and Kajal, who are also her relatives. Geetanjali responds by emphasising that she has a stronger claim over him than anyone else, surprising Armaan with her words. She then walks away.

Vidya questions Kaveri about her choice to let Geetanjali stay in the Poddar house. Kaveri explains that she had no other option, as refusing would have hurt her great-granddaughter's feelings. They both agree that Maira would have been deeply upset if Geetanjali had been sent away. They then discuss about Abhira and Armaan's equation. Kaveri opines that it's best to let the involved individuals, Abhira, Armaan, Geetanjali, and Anshuman, handle the situation their own way.

While Maira is engrossed in watching television, Abhira notices that she is standing too close to the screen. Maira casually explains that this is how she has always watched TV, and when Abhira asks if Armaan has never stopped her, Maira reveals that he has never imposed any restrictions. This leaves Abhira deep in thought.

A little later, Maira inquires if Abhira owns an open-roof car like the ones shown on TV, assuming she must have one because she is wealthy. When Abhira says she doesn't, Maira asks if she plans to buy one. On receiving a negative response, Maira simply accepts it and walks away. Left alone with Abhir, Abhira confides that she feels incapable of giving Maira any real happiness, to which Maira's earlier words echo in her mind.

At the Poddar house, Geetanjali walks toward her room but pauses when she comes across another room, assuming it could be Armaan's. Her curiosity leads her inside, where she begins to look around. She opens a drawer and is taken aback to find sindoor inside. As she continues exploring, she notices that the room is filled with photographs and memories of Abhira and Armaan together displayed on the walls. This makes her wonder if the presence of these memories is the reason Armaan avoids coming into this room.

Trying to fulfil Maira's wish in her own style, Abhira surprises her with Kaveri's scooty instead of the convertible. However, Maira refuses to ride it, leaving Abhira disappointed. Abhir steps in to console her.

Elsewhere, Armaan dreams of sharing a romantic dance with Abhira, ending the moment by embracing her. At the same time, Geetanjali enters the room and notices him clutching a pillow with a smile on his face. She feels that being in this house has rekindled Abhira’s memories in Armaan’s heart and realises that he has never smiled at her in real life the way he does while thinking of Abhira, even in his dreams.

At the dining table, the Poddar family warmly welcomes Kaveri. Manisha comments that now that Vidya has returned, she will likely resume taking charge of household matters. Kajal is invited to sit, and Vidya begins serving breakfast. Kaveri gets emotional recalling memories with Abhira. Geetanjali also sits down to eat when Kajal asks her to sit beside Armaan, and he agrees.

Abhira encourages Maira to eat breakfast. Though Maira misses Geetanjali, she eventually begins enjoying the meal and requests Abhira to feed her every day. However, moments later, Abhira panics when Maira starts struggling to breathe. She calls for Armaan, who rushes in. Geetanjali tries to approach Maira, but Vidya stops her, warning that her interference could prevent Maira from bonding with Abhira.

The doctor later confirms that Maira had an allergic reaction. Thankfully, Armaan arrives in time with the correct injection, leaving Abhira stunned by the close call.
