Yep. Shabana was one insecure soul then. She used to and still HATE Rekha because latter walked away with almost all roles she was vying for too.

If anyone then it is Smita and Rekha at par because both excelled in commercial as well as paralle cinema.

Smita Patel is my fav.

Dimple Kapadia is an underrated actor because people always viewed her as a bimbo. She was fabulous in Kaash, Saagar and so many. I think she is one actor who was given much opportunity. May be because she took a big gap.

Her adopted son??.>Who is that?

Btw, I still think that if Smita Patil was still alive, then there would be no scope for Shabana. It just that, after her death, Shabana's career started to grow! But i would still prefer smita patil over shabana everyday! She was one powerhouse talent!

Rekha ate into all commercial films of Shabana and Smita walked away with every parallel cinema.

Shabana Azmi got recognition after Smita Patil's demise. Before that Shabana was more in news for dating Shekhar Kapur.

smita patil is one of my fav actress of old times, she is beautiful..and her movies are not all abouutt artistic cinema, they were comercial as well!

now i have to google this preitik babbar guy, caz i have no clue which dude is this😕

alright so i googled him, and i think i need to watch Jaane tu again..i don't remember him at all 😕but then again i don't remember anything about that movie😆
