I recently read the review of Meenakshi R. Madhavan's book "You are here". book in the news just becoz sex sells or is there a paradigm change in the social values of a young ,modern Indian woman of today? There she asking some question...I would like to quote here...

Does dressing,smoking ,drinking ,casual sex make a woman modern?

Why is it getting so difficult for young ,financially independent girls to go in for commitment in relationships?

Simply switch on Television and watch any of Ekta Kapoor's soaps /Reality shows to catch the change in Indian women??

In the Indian context , We belive women r pillars of support for their family ,when a woman strays the whole family structure collapses or gets affected.Indian women have the responsibility of preserving our culture and values and passing them on to the Gen Next....I think we loosing our culture slowly!
