There are two(actually three but for this debate will only talk about the two)methods of getting into management.
One is getting yourself into a B-school and then chart your career accordingly. Generally you get somewhere into real management into the thirties. So if you look at the explosion of girls making studies/career their priorities, you are about to see the wave of Asian women in management in another 5-10 years
Other option is grow up through the ranks, that adds another 5-10 years for you to make into Management. So given the fact that women started taking active interest in career in early 1980's that wave should hit in about 2020
I have already seen several Asian women in good management positions and they have the same skin color, family issues as others
Making excuses is considered CLM in management and if you have a habit of making excuses about how bad your social upbringing was, or how your gender is oppressed or how you are sidelined b'cos of your race, you are have started to lay out a foundation for your future failure and that is irrespective of your gender.
