Friends let me clear few doubts here😊..

On IF(India-Forums) DMG is very popular and so is Dr.Armaan...Dr.Armaan as a character is also very popular among the audience..but in terms of trps DMG is not even in top 100 whereas MRD is in top 50😊

Now the reasons for it..

Trps are based on the reach of a particular channel..and there is no doubt that today Colors is 100 times popular than Star one..

Because MRD comes on Colors ,so automatically it enjoys good trps irrespective of whatever the current track is..

DMG comes on Star one channel whose reach among the audience is very low...its right now the no.8th or 9th channel in India whereas Colors is no 2 right now😆

So automatically MRD's reach becomes more than DMG's reach thanks to the channel on which it airs😃

This is the reason why MRD enjoys far better trps than DMG..and here is the proof😊

Just take a look at these two trp lists and also the trps of MRD as compared to the top 4 shows on Star One😃...DMG is not even in top 100 unfortunately and thats why its not there on the above list..u can see that MJHT is there at 61st position in top 100 whereas MRD is there at 43rd position in top 100..and this is the trp of 11th to 17th Jan week....this current week MRD even enjoyed its run in top 10 trps(list is provided in another thread)😃...whereas DMG still could not get into top 100 trps this week

So Just based on IF popularity we cannot decide which serial is popular in terms of trps😊

I m also a fan of DMG and I m sure DMG would hv been much popular if it was coming in Colors or Star plus today..because popularity of a show mainly depends on the channel's reach...😃..

I hope I m clear now😳..

I will hv to close this topic now because comparisons between two shows might hurt the sentiments of both DMG and MRD fans...and I don't want to hurt either of its fans or create any unnecessary fights among them😳..just remembers both r good shows in their own way😃..lets not give much improtance to this number game😆
