Sholay without Amjad Khan?

Actor Amjad Khan was almost dropped from Sholay because scriptwriter Javed Akhtar found his voice weak for Gabbar Singh's role.

Can you imagine Sholay without Amjad Khan playing Gabbar Singh?

Guess Javed Saab is awesome at writing....but not listening.........poor Indian Idol contestants!😛

Sholay would not be the same with any of the characters missing thats how good it was...gabbar became such a icon they redid the posters with his pic on it ...and his dialogues are classics to.

For me sholay is basanti though😳

can't imagine anyone else playing Gabbar but Amjad Khan..........Mr Bachchan did make a dismal attempt in RGV ki Aag....😆
