Hi All ,

We all see a lot of movies 😊 and once in a while we see movies that we cannot take out of our system . I hope you know what I mean 😛 . The ones that impress us , move us or touch us to a different extent .
The movies where you connect , not necessarily to your real life , but you get into it and feel the emotions .
There are a very few actors who actually can make us feel that way . Who , are the character they play and not the actor .
Which movie has made you feel that way and why ?
For me its MAUSAM . Sanjeev kumar and Sharmila tagore are so beyond excellence in the movie . Its the subtleness and delicate emotions potrayed that are so difficult to master , where 90% of the films made otherwise are filled with overblown and hyper expressions .Its a simple movie that made me so connected with the characters that you actual believe it happening and feel each and every emotion of the characters . Brilliant direction by Gulzar 👏
Now your choices .............

Well there a few which will remain with me forever.......Masoom is one.......absolutely love that movie......i know its an adaptation of an English novel but for a change i connected much more with the movie than the book.In recent times another movie which touched me would be Taare Zameen Par......beautiful story & brilliant acting by all.

This is a good topic, Preethi_p_r, but most people are going to name movies like KKHH and DDLJ or Ishq Vishq (no offense dude) as "par excellence" just like someone called Lagaan the worst movie made in India in some thread on here.
I am all for differing opinions but there should come a time when you can look at things objectively.
IF confuzzles me!
Sorry...I'm in a rant mood today.😆

LOL yeh i get what you are saying..

I think that different movies touch people for different reasons..shes asking for films that touched people for some reason or not. Excellently films they might not be put it might be emotions etc that touch people.

I think its vivah for me i do not know what it is about that film i love everything about it and its not just the couple i guess its first film thats focused on arranged marriage which is the most common type of mariage i have seen..and alot of stuff they said made sense ( Yes i am not going to say it did not have chessy lines.. but i mean like stuff her dad was saying , the docter etc). Thats the only film that even thinking of it makes me have a big smile on my face 😃
