I closed my eyes and inhaled deeply.....asked the universe.......name a few........And one Name echoed several times......
Skips.....Skippy....Skippy....Skips.....Skippy..............!!!
Then Came the Akaashvaani that it was Skips b'day.......A few days back.....
Dejected....we all sulked......until Ena... Numes...Purvi and all said why not look forward instead of looking backward........
VOILA.............I said........!! So Lets Start celebrations for Skips Coming b'day.......next year....???đđđ........Yahoooooooooooo!!!!!
So here's to Skips....Our Gem....here's toasting to you..........
Some day (not too many)years ago, a star was dropped from the twilight sky.............
It fell to the ground with a bump, blinked, opened its radiant eyes, and looked around...............
It saw a practical world denuded of any whisper of a poetic phrase, any shudder of an ecstatic dream, any breath of tremulous hope.....
She so wanted to change it all....
But needed Deep inspiration.......
And she found it........er......here in her kudi & IF.....đ............!!!!!!
And Love for IIFians...... welled from the deepest recesses of her heart.........đ
It flooded the earth, bathed the trees and flowers in myriad hues, and washed over lonely souls craving for some passion in their life.......eg us.........
Her tide of Poetry & Prose poured into a place called India-forums, where she soon proved she was a star not only in the heavenly space, but in cyberspace too.................
