Masakali's OSO link

A birdie tells us that the Masakali track from Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's Delhi-6 was originally composed for Farah Khan's Om Shanti Om.

A R Rahman was initially supposed to score OSO's music. But things didn't work out and Vishal-Shekhar were roped in. Now we only wonder how Shantipriya (Deepika Padukone's character in the film) would have done a Masakali sans a pigeon?

I guess it was made for Sonam and pigeon😆😛 i am happy the song is finally for Delhi 6. It looks and sounds perfect.

Arre yaar. More comparisons. I loved OSO music and I think this song, I've heard it once, is good for Delhi 6.

^^Agree the song wouldn't had suited OSO, Masakali is perfect for Delhi 6.

if i'm not mistaken didnt both ROM and AR Rehman state that this song was made only because of the peigon so how could it have been made for oso, also i don't think AR Rehman recycles his music as he makes songs that fit the story of the movie. so this seems a bit far fetched , it wouldn't have suited OSO anyway.
