Its morning. Daadisa goes to Suguna's room and finds that its locked from inside. She starts banging on the door. Inside Suguna and Anandi are still asleep. Anandi is still sleeping on the bed. Suguna wakes up. On hearing Daadisa's voice, she panics. She drags Anandi to sleep on the floor and opens the door. Daadisa asks her why she had shut the door. Suguna says that she wanted to avoid Jagya as he was constantly asking about what was wrong with Anandi. Daadisa is convinced. She sees that Anandi is still asleep. She shouts at Anandi to waker her up and tells her to take a bath in the bathroom outside the house. She then asks Suguna to get ready to go shopping for her gauna.
Basanth takes breakfast for Gehna and makes her eat in her room. He gets her jalebis too. Bhairav watches this and feels happy. Gehna takes the jalebis to Anandi and tries to feed her, but Anandi tells her to keep it down and that she would eat herself. Gehna feels bad. Over the next few days she sees Sumitra doing all the housework by herself and feels bad.
Bhairav and Basanth are talking about Suguna's gauna preparations when Sumitra comes running to tell them that Gehna had a terrible stomach ache and was very ill. Basanth panics. He tells Bhairav to call the vaidji, but Bhairav tells him to take Gehna to the doctor instead. Basanth hesitates as he knows Maasa is against "English" doctors, but Basanth convinces him since Maasa wasn't at home. Basanth agrees saying Maasa should not know about this.
At the hospital, the doctor tells Basanth that Gehna is very anemic. He prescribes medicines for Gehna. He tells Basanth to take good care of her and that he will need to come in for regular check-ups. Basanth reluctantly agrees.
At home Sumitra tells Gehna to take care and to take all medicines on time. She feels happy that Basanth cares for Gehna so much. Looks like Anandi's period is over. She plays with Phooli and Jagya..Some silly fight between Jagya and her. Basant comes to Gehna and tells her that at no cost Maasa should not know that they went to the doctor.
Precap : Gehna and Sumitra are talking in low tones and Maasa asks them what they are whispering. The medicines slip from Gehna's hand and Maasa sees the tablets.
