I was sitting in my class the other day and suddenly our english teacher asked all of us a question, "Should women enter politics"...me, being a pro-woman person, and most of the other girls of my class said yes...but I was shocked to the roots of my hair when I heard what the boys of my class had to say...They said "Politics is a dirty game & girls are too gentle, Hence they should not enter Politics"...one of the boys said, "Parliament me jaakar rotiyan belni hai kya?" ( Do u wanna make chapatis in the parliament?), I felt like giving him a tight slap.

But it also made me think, If this is what they have to say about women, inspite of being educated & studying in an english-medium school, then what's the point of all the education ? What's the difference between that boy & an illerate person?

This stereotypical image of an Indian women, that she can only work in the kitchen and no where else, still continues, Where have we evolved?

the comments of ur school boys were little funny!😆

but coming 2 the point....i think men and women r equal but its better that men takes care of outside work and women care for household work.

if both will work for outside world, whoz gonna take responsibilites for home and chilren?

well....the problem is that when men work for family its OK, and when women work for house..many thinks thats she's maidservant. how illogical!!

u can see the result of both working outside n together.....affairs, heartbreaks, family-breaking, divorces...etc.

i know there r many other factors of these problems, but men n women intermingling is causing lots of disorder in r society.

i might sound extremist, but thats the truth. u either accept it or reject it...upto u!

u can see the result of both working outside n together.....affairs, heartbreaks, family-breaking, divorces...etc.that can happen with a male working outside.. he can be having an affair on the sidee and his wife wouldnt noe.. it would make his wife much mroe dependant on him if she didnt have a careerof her own to support her self.. it would make it harderfor her to leave if her husband were cheating on her.. it just surpresses women.. thats not right

I'm sorry to say but you sound like a male chauvinist. 🤢

Why can't both men & women handle the housework in a balanced manner? Apply the concept of "Equal work distribution"? Why is it that women are burderened with this so-called "responsibility" the very moment they're born?

If Affairs, divorces, family-breaking & heartbreaks are happening, then let me tell you that 99% of the times it is the man who strays, not the woman. Even men whose wives stay at home have mistresses & multiple number of affairs, What causes that?

And the "truth" you're talking about, whose truth is it? yours? certainly not mine. Just because you say so, how does it become the "truth" ?

I think women are the most important parts of society..

Think about it, ladies can do more things than guys...Most mothers these days are the primary care takers of kids and they work as well.

Women can work anywhere they want, in my company women hold high positions.

Women can think more rationally than men (they're calm in most situations) so women are better suited for politics in my opinion.

i think it goes both ways...

but i would agree that women probably act more rational most of the time vs. Men.

something with Ego makes some guys go the wrong direction no matter what..😡

Are you at work? I'm still on vacation start college on the 26th the day after my birthday (mixed feelings).

Really tho, yeah work is hard sometimes, after conference calls i just jump on IF now and then to take a mini 1min break...

Whens ur bday this Jan 26th?Wow, amazing! So many ppl are in Jan..even me..😊

Good luck with school, im on my second to last semester...its a great accomplishment, time flies so fast..😃
